When you think of a haunted house, you probably think of ghosts crawling all around and evil sounds coming from every corner. But that wasn't the case with this one. You couldnt really tell that it was haunted just by looking at it. As for me, I could tell that it was haunted, because I have what they call the sixth sense. I could see things that normal people can't, and hear things that normal people can't. As soon as we moved into this neighborhood, I knew there was something paranormal about this house, and I was curious to find out what it was.
◾◾◾Charlie, Sadie, Max, Henry, and I all gathered at my house to make our game plan. Charlie is kind of like the goody-two-shoes kid. One wrong move that could get him in trouble, and he's out. Sadie is, well, my girlfriend as of three years now. Max is my best friend, and has been through everything with me. He even kind of helped me get Sadie. Then there's Henry, our comic-relief dude, always finding a way to slip in a joke. Sadie was sitting next to me on the hammock we were sharing, and you could tell that she was pretty tense about this whole thing. "Guys, should we really be doing this? We could get arrested for breaking and entering" she said, nervously. I put my arm around her and said, "I promise, nothing will happen to you, ok baby?" She looked up at me with her big brown puppy dog eyes, begging me to let her stay behind. I pleaded her back with my eyes, and she knew that she had lost. "I'll hold your hand the entire time." Sadie glanced at me, not completly convinced, but finally nodded in agreement. "Ok so here's the plan" I said in my bold and authoritive voice. "Get in, explore, find a good place to use the Ouija Board, use it, and run for our lives" Henry was staring at me with glazed over eyes, and said "Wanna play?", and he lunged at Charlie, who in turn screamed and ran into the other room. In the meantime, we were all laughing our asses off, and Charlie was hyperventalating. I told you Henry was our comedian, and we could always count on him to lighten the mood. "Alrighty gang, let's sleep on it, and meet me back here first thing tomorrow morning." They all nodded in unison, got up and left. All except Charlie. "Hey Charlie, you ok? He was only kidding ya know." He sat on my moms frayed recliner, curled up in a fetus position. "Are you still in buddy?" He looked at me with loads of fear in his eyes and opened his mouth to speak. He thought better of it and chose the right words in his head. "You guys can go ahead. And don't blame me if you all die." With that, he got up, grabbed his things and walked out of the house. I was dumbfounded! He had never talked to anyone, let alone me like that. But I had other things to worry about, like getting a good nights sleep. I layed down, set my alarm for 6:00, and right as my head hit the pillow, I was fast asleep.
