Feeling a slight pressure on her mind, Penelope open her shield, and let the thoughts flow to her. She felt Rosalies discomfort and hurt of Ryiden being so close to her, as well as her dislike for her Isabella. She also felt Jasper's curiosity, and slight hunger. She felt Edward and Ryiden's shock, and pleasant surprise at learning of her gift.

Turning to face the entire family. Penelope decided to get the cat out of the bag so she could focus.
