After arriving home from their trip to the drug store. Annie led Nicole upstairs to her room from prying eyes that belonged to her parents.

Nicole was still feeling sour about her collision with the drug store clerk or 'Nerdy loser' she came to call him.

"Stop stalling, let's put this mystery to bed. Go and pee on that freakin stick so we can see if there's a bun in the oven or not." Nicole stare at Annie her nerves getting the best of her.

"I can't. What if I'm really pregnant? I can't do this." Nicole shakes her head in denial.

Annie walks up to Nicole embracing her seeing she needs the comfort.

"Girly? We need to do this, so we can handle what comes next." Annie massages Nicole's shoulders.

Exhaling a stressful breath Nicole grabs a pregnancy test before heading into the bathroom that's attached to her bedroom.

Staring at the product with nervous eyes she opens the box as she reads the test instructions. "Oh God! I never prayed about wanting anything before until now. Please let this be a false alarm." She mutters.

After doing everything she needed to do she comes back out of the bathroom as Annie places a timer to keep track of when to see the results.

"In about eight minutes we shall know what we're dealing with." Annie says.

She stares at a quiet Nicole who is sitting on the edge of the bed with her head down in both her hands. Sighing feeling bad for her best friend, Annie watches as Nicole crawl back onto her bed in a fatal position not wanting to be bothered with.

"We will get through this, girly." Nicole ignores her words of comfort.

Annie will never understand the trauma she is enduring going through this mess. She had a plan! A baby wasn't a part of that plan..... At least not yet. Feeling restless she turns over to glare at Annie her eyes blood shot from crying.

Her head was killing her from crying so much. It felt like someone was slamming a sledge hammer into her skull.

"Is it done yet?" Nicole whined it felt like time was standing still.

Sitting up on her bed. Nicole begins to rub her temple to ease the ache in her brain, her nerves begin to rattle her to the point that she seemed on drugs.

"No! We still have like. Five minutes." Annie mutter.

She sits in a chair while she patiently waits the results to her friends fate. She's not even the one preg preg right now and it even has her on edge.

Sitting and waiting is worse then actually seeing the test results! At least with seeing the facts, there is no point of dwelling on the possibilities of the outcome you don't want to happen.

While waiting? It's like your life flashes before your eyes! Like your waiting for your life to leave your corpse. Nicole has so much riding on this situation. Her parents have always given her whatever she asked for in life.

They only asked in return was to follow the plan they had mapped out for her. Go to school graduate, go to college graduate, become a model. Find and marry a suitable man that brings value to the Summer name.

If she strained from that path there will be consequences for her actions. And now because of a wreck less mistake all that could be taken away. Her life is in limbo right now. Only two ways this can go! Standing at a crossroad her mind is stuck.....
