Everything still felt surreal for Jasper the next day. He woke up to him being home alone. His mom was already dressed and out the door by the time he woke up from his slumber.
Tossing and turning kept him busy the night before. His mind tormented him with sky blue eyes! Not the wet dream kind either.
His mind kept dreaming up different little children forcing him to face a possibility that he will have to raise a new being into this world.
"God am I really ready for that?" He mutter. 'No! But you have no other choice now do ya?' His mind answered.
Usually she'd have breakfast ready for him but this time all he found was a note attached to the silver fridge.
Taking it off the fridge he reads the letter.
~Dear new parent of the house! You're gonna have to learn to fend for yourself, since you've grown up enough to be popping out kids.
P.S You better be doing all you can to get involved with this Nicole girl too.... I raised you better than that.~
He sighed as he folded the paper and stuffed it into his pocket. 'Just great, you've upset mom.' his mind scolds.
"It wasn't on purpose." He mutter.
It looked like he wasn't gonna have a hot breakfast today.
He reached over the cabinet and retrieved a white and brown glass bowl, before grabbing a silver spoon. He searched the cereal selection before grabbing his choice of breakfast.
He settled on a bowl of 'fruity slap ems' the blue boxed cereal of a cartooned bear overly dramatically eating away at the fruit shaped cereal with marshmallows always made him feel a bit better.
Sitting at the table he poured his cereal then added milk before digging in to his breakfast. His emerald colored eyes wander around the kitchen.
"How will you go about convincing the most uptight girl you have ever met, to let you help with a child that can potentially be yours?" He muttered to himself.
His brain hasn't even fully woken up yet. He hated mornings, especially since he started working. It always feels like you never get enough rest when you must wake up early for an activity.
His mom was a true soldier to have to constantly do this. He just keep finding new reasons to admire her. So now he's about to have to do the same for his kid.
"It could be Dave's." He shakes his head to refocus on eating his breakfast.
'I wonder if Dave is aware of me being a potential candidate for Nicole's baby?' he thinks.
Finishing up on eating the cereal, he cleans then puts away the silver spoon and glass bowl. He heads for his bedroom preparing himself for work.

Arriving at work has been a chill experience. But one weird thing happened. It seemed like every chick he crossed had kids! Like the universe was warning him of something.
The constant crying of new born babies and disobedient toddler children was a bit much for his taste. One kid even hopped on him while playing on the seats of the bus.
The mother of that child didn't even react to his activity. He wanted to toss the kid out the window especially after he acted as if Jasper himself was the one responsible for the incident.
