Back at the Reaper's Tower, Grim was in conference with the Reaper's Council, Dantè, Jamie, and two other advanced reapers. One of the advanced reapers had long flowing dark blue hair, and black eyes. She had a small black star in the corner of her right eye. In both of her eyes was a six sided star. The other advanced reaper wore a plain white mask that covered his entire face.
"So is it understood?" Grim asked.
Dantè and Jamie sighed with a faint nod.
"Both of you have Dark Heart Diamonds, and the Reaper's Council and myself see fit that you two are not trusted to be alone, so we must assign you two another two in your private suite, so in the morning your dormitory will be renovated to a four roomed dorm room," Grim explained, "Faceless and Sage will be your group partners, they were just admitted, and Faceless will be your group leader."
Dantè and Jamie were outraged.
"How are you going to put someone weaker than us as group leader?" Dantè exclaimed.
"We both have Dark Heart Diamonds Grim, how are you going to do that to us?" Jamie snarled.
"Simple, I don't trust either of you, so why would I put trust in a group of Manipulation and Dark Heart Diamond Reapers in the hands of two people I don't trust?" Grim snarled.
"Honestly, I too wonder that, just because you don't trust someone isn't a good enough reason Grim," Reaper explained.
"Okay, Dantè since you already had your promotion examination, and I saw what you're capable of, I want to see what Alyssa is capable of doing when promotion is at stack," Grim smirked.
"You have a lot of confidence in Faceless," Jamie said.
"Of course I do," Grim said. "I was the one who trained him, reason why he wears that mask, with no eyes is the same reason why Dreadscythe wears her mask, he is a top ranked user of the Death Mark Eyes heightening technique, but his is ten times more powerful than Dreadscythe's, but he couldn't control his, a single thought while looking someone in the eyes, he could kill them, so I created that mask to decrease his strength, but only to his will," Grim explained.
"This ought to be fun," Jamie chuckled.
"You keep thinking that, I have been known to put people into comas with my hex spells," Faceless said in a calm subtle voice. "Like right now, I know the truth, but at the same time, I know if I release the truth, the entire world would be in peril."
"You and Mephitis are just alike, you two act like you know me, but you don't, your eyes or in his case his eye, those eyes don't mean squat if you don't know how to read a person first, without using a heightening advantage, you've crippled your senses by using your Death Mark Eyes, and I aim to prove myself right!" Jamie snarled.
Dantè whistled, "Them are some fighting words, Grim if I may, can you sanction a Forbidden Bout?"
"How do you know of a Forbidden Bout?" Grim asked.
"I studied during the five years before I came here, A forbidden Bout is the only way a beginner, intermediate, and advance reapers to use their forbidden, ancient, and chaos hex spells, Alyssa mainly relies on her Chaos hex spells, her water element hex spells are her secondary, I think she needs a fair advantage, while Faceless relies on his mind manipulation hex spells being his primary hex spells and his forbidden hex spells being his secondary," Dantè explained, "The only way to win a Forbidden Bout is one reaper must completely subdue the other, paralyze, or kill them if necessary."
"All those things," Sage said in a sweet innocent voice, "All those things, my partner can do with just a simple thought, why would you put your own partner through that?"
