After the longest trip I’ve EVER been on, I landed in the middle of a corn field. I know, very stereotypical, but it’s the most deserted place the auto-pilot could locate. I climbed out of the ship and stretched. I looked around. I had absolutely NO idea where I was. I grabbed the suitcase of stuff the scientists gave me. I headed off in the direction of a little farm house that looked almost abandoned. As I was leaving my ship took off. The scientists set the auto-pilot so that it would fly itself back to my planet so no one suspects I’m an alien. I was halfway to the farm house when I heard a buzzing sound coming from my suitcase. I stopped and pulled out a small device that has a touch screen. There was a call on it. I hit accept and the head agents face popped up. “Agent 675. I am going to assume you landed safely? “You are correct.” I said. “Great. There is a little farm house one kilometer from you. Go to that house and say you’re lost and that you’re not from around here. Tell them you need directions to the nearest hotel. You have credit cards and everything else you may need in your suitcase. Feel free to spend as much as you like on things that will help you get by as a human. Check in with me every two days. You have identification in your suitcase as well. Your name on Earth is Diana Zandri. Oh, and by the way, the device you hold in your hand is called a cell phone.” And with that, the head agent was gone. I tucked the ‘cell phone’ into my suitcase and headed towards the farm house. I little while later I was knocking on the door. A little old lady slowly opened the door. “Hello..?” she asked tensely. “Hi!” I said. “I’m Diana.” I stuck out my hand for her to shake. She loosened up and bit and shook my hand. “I’m Mrs. Correy. How can I help you, Diana?” “Well, Mrs. Correy.” I started. “I’m lost, and I'm not from around here, so I was wondering if you could tell me where I am and direct me to the nearest hotel?” “Well of course dear! Come on in and I’ll show you a map. Would you like some tea or coffee?” Mrs. Correy asked me. What a sweet little lady. “Thank you. Coffee would be wonderful” I said. She showed me to her living room and offered me a seat. I sat down and waited while she went and got me some coffee and a map. I would have to remember to be on my best behaviour while I'm here. Besides being known for my tendency to ruin everything, I'm also known for my temper.

Mrs. Correy returned with a mug of coffee and a map of California. She sat down next to me and showed me the map and gave me directions to where I had to go. She asked me if I had a vehicle, and I said no. “Did you walk here then?” Mrs. Correy asked me. I nodded. “If you don’t mind my asking, where do you live?” “I'm sorry, but I can’t tell you. It’s confidential. My father has a secret operation there so I can’t tell you where I live.” I said. Not exactly a lie, but not the truth. No one can know the truth. “I understand. Would you like a vehicle? I can sell you one of our many cars for a very cheap price.” She said. “Um, sure. Thanks” I said. She led me to the front of her house, which had about 20 different cars parked in a little parking lot. Wow, she must have a slow business selling old cars out in the middle of nowhere. I browsed around until I finally settled on a greenish blue 1994 Chevrolet truck. I found a wallet in my suitcase and gave Mrs. Correy some cash. She smiled, handed me the keys and wished me good luck. I drove out of the parking lot and headed the way Mrs. Correy directed me.

I drove for a couple hours until I finally reached the city of San Francisco. I manoeuvred through traffic and found the hotel. I parked and grabbed my suitcase. I went into the hotel and checked in. I got a room on the 8th floor of the 14 floor hotel. I went up to my room. I walked through the hall and looked for my room. Room number 675. Very convenient. I unlocked the door and put my suitcase inside. I sat down on the bed. Damn, I need to take these shoes off. They're hurting my heel-toe. I took my shoes off and threw them onto the ground. I grabbed my suitcase and looked through it. I found a bunch of clothing and shoes, the wallet that I had used earlier. I opened the wallet and counted the money. Well, I found out about their currency already. I had $12,500 in cash, and a lot more on the 5 credit cards I have. I also found some identification in my wallet. It says I'm from Ontario, Canada. Alright, I can go with that. I continue to dig through my suitcase. I find a envelope. I open it and I find a lot more cash. I find a laptop, a jewelry box with, of course, jewelry inside, and a case. I open it up and look inside. I find these weird pencil-like things with lids on. I open up one of the lids and try drawing a line on my hand. It draws on really easily. I have no idea what this thing is. I look at the label on it. It says, ‘eyeliner’. I'm supposed to draw on my eye? What the hell is wrong with Earth beings? They draw on their faces? I continue looking in the case. I find this container with some colourful packed powder in it. I read the label on it, and it says ‘eye shadow’. What? This is ridiculous. What could they possibly use this stuff for? After I finished looking through the case I'm really curious about how the Earth beings use this stuff. I go to my laptop and find a search engine called Google. I search up what the ‘eyeliner’ and other stuff is used for. I find pictures and videos about how to use it. It looks very interesting. It seems to enhance the Earth beings features. I decide to try it out. I follow the instructions from one of the videos. I used the black eyeliner, burgundy eye shadows, and black mascara. I looked in the mirror at my creation. My green eyes looked amazing. I took off my wig to get a clear look at my face. My wig actually looks really good with my eyes. I compared my creation to the girls in the video. Our eyes looked identical. I had finished looking through my suitcase, and now I was finished with my eyes. Now I have nothing to do. I looked up some places to go on Google. I found a nice sounding club thats a couple minutes drive from my hotel. I change into a tight fitting shinny dark grey strapless dress. I found some burgundy high-heels that match my makeup. Ugh, I don’t want to wear shoes. It hurts my heel-toe too much. I’ll have to toughen up. I went and put on my wig. I don’t like the feeling of the ‘hair’ that’s on it. I’ll have to see if I can find a nicer feeing one sometime. I picked out some jewelry, grabbed a purse, and headed out to the club. It took me 15 minutes to walk there. I headed in the door after showing the guards my I.D. According to my I.D. I'm 25 years old. I walked up to the bar and ordered a drink. I sat in one of the bar stools and looked around. Everyone seemed to be laughing and talking and having a good time. I don’t know what’s so fun about these clubs. I kept looking around as I was sipping my drink. I had a gin and tonic. It was pretty good. I spotted this one girl who kept glancing over in my direction. Time to get personal with the Earth being. I smiled one of my award winning smiles and waved. She smiled back and looked to the guy that was standing next to him, and grabbed his and started walking over here. I waited as they approached me. “Hey.” The girl said. “My name is Jenna McAdams. And this is my boyfriend John Ferdalas.” “Nice to meet you two. My name is Diana Zandri. I'm new here.” I said. “So that's why you’re here all alone.” Jenna said. “We’re going to go grab something to eat, would you like to join us?” The John guy asked. I looked over to him and made eye contact. He has beautiful green eyes, like mine, but his are brighter. I admired his brown hair that also looked like mine, but his is real. I randomly had the urge to run my hands through his hair. That's weird. Also really creepy. I was staring at his chiseled face when I realized he was waiting for my answer. “Oh, um, sure.” I managed to get out. I turned my attention to Jenna. I was jealous of her long, blonde hair. Maybe I should get a blonde wig instead. I looked up into her blue eyes. They had this sparkle to them that could cheer anyone up. We headed out the door. We walked down the street to a nice little restaurant. We got our table and started talking about ourselves. Okay, time to get creative, I thought. I told them the stuff my I.D said, I'm from Toronto, Ontario, my birthday is May 20th, I'm 25 years old. Jenna asked me what kind of job I had. “I'm currently unemployed, but I used to be a teacher.” I lied. I’ll have to right these things down later so I remember. “What about you guys?” “I asked them. “I'm just a waitress for a restaurant down the street.” Jenna says. “I'm a police officer.” John says. Hot, I think to myself. Our server brings us our meals. I have some kind of chicken stuff. It’s pretty good. John and Jenna share some salmon. We talk and laugh. I think we’re all going to be friends. Friends are as close I can be to someone on earth before I start getting attached. It’s going to be hard not getting attached to these two. They're really friendly and fun to be around. We started talking about clothing and other fashion. I complimented Jenna on her yellow tank top and her dark jeans. I made a comment on how pretty Jenna is. “I completely agree.” John said, which made Jenna blush. We kept talking for a long time. Finally the waitress brings us our bill and we split the cost. We head out of the restaurant. It’s late, 12:00am. “I should probably get going back to my hotel.” I say. “You don’t live here?” Jenna asks. Somehow we managed to miss that topic during dinner. “No, I'm just here temporarily. I’m going to be renting an apartment though.” “How long are you going to be here for then?” John asks. Looking into his green eyes I say, “I'm not sure yet. I have to go bye.” I turn on my heel and head towards my truck. I hop in and drive away, trying to rid my mind of those green eyes.
