*Time Skip 2 Months*
*Lucy's POV*

It has been 2 months since the dream, but I still haven't gotten over it. On the contrary, it has become a lot worse. At first, I would just be reminded of it whenever I was alone, but gradually, it started escalating. Soon, I couldn't even focus for 5 minutes before I would relive the dream again and everything went numb.

Even then, it got worse. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't talk, and I couldn't even move. I spent most of my days laying on my bed staring blankly at the ceiling. I felt my emotions swirling around in my head like a tornado.

I tried to reason with myself and convince my brain that it was just a dream and that it happened a long time ago, but nothing worked. Eventually, my brain seemed to shut off completely, leaving me to drown in my own sadness and pain.

Crying myself to sleep was a nightly occurance, which led to me locking my windows and doors so Natsu or Happy wouldn't see me like this. I felt like I wasn't even living anymore, but I couldn't even find it in myself to care.

As I was laying on my bed, staring at the ceiling, I heard a knock on my window. Slowly, I sat up and pulled the curtain open, revealing the sun from outside along with a smiling Natsu. I opened the window to let him in. When he saw me, I saw his smile fall and concern take over, but he shook his head and smiled again.

"Hey Luce!"

I didn't even acknowledge his greeting and instead stared at him emotionless. His smile faltered again, but he grasped himself again.

"I have something I want to show you! Come with me!"

Before I could refuse, he grabbed me and pulled me out of the window. I screamed, but he caught me as we landed. I was about to slap him when he started running. I held on tight to make sure I didn't fall while also wishing for him to fall in the river.

Finally, we reached the guild. It was at that moment that I realized how distant I had become. Due to my depression, I hadn't been to the guild for about a month. I could only imagine what everyone was thinking.

Natsu led me forwards and opened the doors, revealing the whole guild standing there smiling. Well, most of them anyway. Confusion took over until Master Makarov walked forward.

"Lucy, my child! It is so great to see you!"

I just stared forwards blankly. Even though I was home, I couldn't feel any emotion of happiness. Master Makarov stopped smiling and looked to Natsu.

"It's worse than I thought."

Natsu nodded, seriously. Makarov sighed and looked back at me with a sad expression.

"Lucy, what is the matter? We haven't seen you for weeks! Please, child. Tell us what is troubling you."

I didn't move. I couldn't. I felt my heart rate increase. I knew what that meant. It meant I was about to be thrown back into my dream. I shook my head hard, trying to get rid of it. Luckily, this time it worked. I just looked forwards again, regaining my control.

Makarov sighed again.

"Lucy, my child, We will not force you to tell us about your problems, but know that we are here if you need us, okay?"

I slowly nodded. He smiled and nodded again.

"That said, I believe you will be cheered up greatly if you got a vacation. Just some time to relax and sort out your troubles. I have arranged for you to stay in Twighlight Springs. Have you heard of it before?"

I shook my head.

"Twilight Springs is a very small town a few hours away by train. The town itself has possibly the strongest Celestial magic source in the world. You see, the town was built and founded by Celestial wizards because it is closest to the stars. I believe it will help you if you get closer to your roots."

I understodd what he was saying, but I didn't show it.

"Anyway, You will be leaving now with Erza to Twilight Springs. SHe will escort you there and once you arrive, she will come back and leave you to find your own path. Please do not think we are sending you away because of something bad you did, Lucy. We are simply worried about you and believe you need a break. You can come back once you feel better and hopefully have fixed everything you are upset about."

I just nodded again. He nodded back and turned to Erza. She took the hint and walked over to me.

"Come, Lucy. We must go now."

I let her lead me out of the guild and to my apartment to pack. Once we were done, we walked to the train station, heading to Twilight Springs. The train ride was uneventful and I just pretended to sleep so she wouldn't ask questions.

I had to fight off memories, but did not want Erza to question me about my dream, so I dealt with it. Once we got off the train, Erza bade me farewell and gave me directions to where I was living. She hopped back on the train and I turned around.

All alone again.
