Once Erza left, something inside me changed. It was like all of the emotions I had felt for the past few months just disappeared. I no longer felt the pain or the sadness. I no longer felt anything. It was as if I was just a walking shell of a person. My mind was blank and my body was numb.

Slowly, I felt my legs start to move. They walked me through town and into the forest. I didn't know where I was going, but I knew that I had no control anymore. My body walked through the forest for what felt like hours and I could feel exhaustion taking over.

By the time my body finally stopped moving, I could barely stand up. I looked around and noticed that I was standing in the middle of a clearing. There were wild flowers scattered around the area and tall, dense trees surrounding me.

Then, in the blink of an eye, my legs gave out and I fell to the ground. I was so tired that it only took a few seconds of lying on the ground before my eyes closed and everything went black.

A while later, I woke up to a poking sensation on my arm. It didn't hurt, but it made it difficult to go back to sleep. I rolled over to avoid the pokes.

"Oh, so you are alive."

My eyes flew open. I knew that voice. Sitting up, I saw Laxus Dreyar standing there holding a stick. At first, I felt surprise that he was there, but then it felt like some kind of force just zapped away everything and I was once again an empty shell. I looked at Laxus blankly.

At first, he looked confused, but then he sighed.

"Well, I can't just leave you here. If gramps found out I just left you half dead in the middle of nowhere, he would have my head. So come on, I'm taking you back to town."

I didn't say anything or move to acknowledge that I heard him. This seemed to irritate him a bit, so he leaned down and picked me up, throwing me over his shoulder. I just hung there like a limp noodle, not even fighting him.

He seemed to pause, sort of surprised that I WASN'T fighting him. Then he just shook his head and started walking. It didn't take too long to get out of the forest and back into town, but when we did, Laxus took me to the hospital.

He set me down outside and looked at me.

"Okay, wait here while I go get a doctor."

He walked inside and as soon as that door closed, I felt the force pulling me to the forest again. Without even looking back I started walking. My body moved so smoothly over the ground, like it was floating over the twigs and rocks.

When I made it back to the same spot I had just been, I laid down on my back. I looked up into the bright blue sky, but for some reason the blue was fading to grey. The world felt like it was spinning and slowly my body went numb.

"You have got SOME nerve!"

I didn't know who was screaming or why they were screaming, but I didn't care. Even their voice was muffled. My blank eyes just looked into the grey sky, unblinking. My view of the sky was changing as my body moved. Was I being carried again? Why? And by who?

All of these questions popped in my head, but for some reason I couldn't even care about the answers to them. I watched as I was set down outside of the hospital again. This time a doctor came out and looked at me. When he finished his examination, he said something to someone.

I couldn't hear what he said or even see who he said it to. I felt the force pulling me again and sure enough, my body started walking. Once I made it to the spot, I laid down, like I had before.
