*Lucy POV*

Everything was gone. No struggling anymore, so hoping that I would get better, and no attention to my life. I felt like I was drifting in a black pit and no matter where I tried to go, I wouldn't get anywhere. After awhile with Laxus, I forgot about him. I didn't notice he was there. I didn't notice anything really. All I could feel was a distance between me and something. I didn't know what it was, or why I felt like I needed it, but I did. Every chance I had, I tried to close the distance, but something was holding me back. I gave up, but one day, I felt myself finally moving closer. I was almost there, I was only a few feet away. But when I tried to go to it, something pulled me away from it again. I was afraid that it would drag me all the way back again, but it just dragged me a few feet and let me go. I was hesitant on moving again, but when I felt free enough to move, I dived for it. Unfortunately, there was an invisible wall blocking me that I didn't realize. I felt the wall fall as I hit it though, so I started to crawl forwards to finally end the distance. But once again, an invisible force pinned me down and formed yet another wall in front of me. I was getting frustrated because all I wanted was to reach the destinations to which my entire being wanted to go. A second later, I felt a different want. Suddenly, I wanted to look upward. I didn't know why, and I expected nothing to be there, but when my eyes looked up, that's when I saw it. I saw the star. The one star that my mother had named the star of Lucy so that I would always remember that the stars and I are connected and that I will always be the brightest one. When I saw that single star in the darkness, I saw the beauty behind it. I felt at home. I felt like that was my mother in that star, telling me to come home. I could finally feel my body and I felt my eyes widen. Then, it happened. The star shook and then a gigantic explosion like a dam being burst was set off. I felt everything. Every sad time, every happy time, every memory that I had ever created, came rushing back to me like a raging river. I felt my magic power growing, I felt it fill my body and hum through me. I felt myself being lifted off of the ground and then the magic power stopped and everything went white. When I opened my eyes, I felt different. I felt alive. I felt like I could fall from heaven itself and land perfectly. I had so many things going on in my head, that it took awhile to sort it. I could feel the magic being stored somewhere in my soul and I knew it would never leave me, like I know my mother never will. She is a part of me and even if I cannot see her, I can feel her inside me. I felt warm and at home. Something just kept nagging at me like I had forgotten something. I stood up, noticing that my clothes had turned into a beautiful galaxy dress with stars on them that actually twinkled. My hair was curled and put up in a pony tail with a golden tiara on my head. What I did notice was Laxus Dreyar, passed out on the ground. I walked over to him and gently shook him.
"Laxus? Wake up."
He slowly awoke and looked around before noticing me. I noticed that he was wearing a navy blue tux that was lined with gold and had a star on his jacket pocket. It looked like a perfect match to my own attire.

"Lucy? What happened? Are you okay?!"
"I'm fine Laxus, and what happened to calling me Blondie?"
"You remember that? You remember the past few months?"
"Yes I remember. And thank you so much for taking care of me. I don't know what I would have done without you." I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
He looked surprised, but the looked turned into a smirk.
"I think I deserve a little more than that for putting up with all of that frustration."
"Of course you do." I leaned back in, but before I reached him, he pulled me in faster and our lips collided with one another. I could feel our Magic dancing with each other, and it felt amazing. He was amazing. The kiss lasted a very long time, and by the time either of us came up for breath, our powers had combined and nothing would ever separate them again. I would never want to separate from him anyway.
Before I could say anything, Laxus went ahead and blurted out what I was thinking.
"I love you Lucy. I have for a very long time, and I will continue to love you for the rest of eternity."
"I love you too Laxus and I always will." We then shared another kiss and spent the rest of the day in each other's arms and we wouldn't have had it any other way.gghcyccy
