--------
"Hey, we're have you guys been?" Rafael asks.

José jabs him with his elbow smiling. "I think they've been wooin' each other." He walks off laughing.

I chuckle, at the thought of doing. . . that.

Teigan kisses me on the forehead, and walks back to lunch table. I tie my hair in an elastic, and prepare for the next test.

--------------------------The device in our wrist buzzes and of course, speaks aloud.
"Please come to the fourth floor to proceed to your next test."

I walk with my group-mates to the fourth floor and we see the biggest doors we have ever seen in our lives.

"You simply have to walk together towards the end of the tunnel with your group-mates. You all have to be at the end, together. You have 30 minutes."

"Thats it?" I ask.

The device buzzes signaling that we should walk in.

We all jump at the sound of the doors closing behind us.

"This is gonna be easy!" José says. He starts to walk forward into the darkness. He then stops for a moment and just stands there, staring into the abyss.

"José?" Teigan asks.

He runs up to him, and he looks at his face.
"Guys, he's totally pale-" he stops mid sentence and looks at us, frightened.

I start to worry. I look around, for anything. I make sure I look up and down every wall making sure nothing is doing something to them.

Rafael is kinda dazed as well. I start to worry.

Is something wrong with me?! Why am I not getting caught in some type of trance?

I turn to go shake them out of it. I turn but they aren't there. Instead it's the little girl I stole my device from. She has blood dripping down her head. She has been crying. Just like the day I saw her. The day I stole from her.

"Why, why me?" She asks. "I still had a chance? Why?!" She's yelling now. I walk back.

Tears roll down my eyes as I stand, facing the little girl. "I'm supposed to be Klynn!" She yells. "I still had a chance!"

"No!" I yell back. The sound waves form my yells send her flying. Confidence grows within me, and I start walking towards the little girl.

"I'm sorry you didn't get to have a chance! But it's too late now!" I yell. The girl goes flying back more towards the end of the tunnel.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." This time I'm walking toward her, putting my arms out to hug her. She just stands there, crying. I hug her.

She disappears from my arms, and I'm suddenly awoken by my name being called getting louder and louder.

"Huh?!" I ask.

"We made it, Klynn!" Teigan, Rafael, and José.
The light from the end of the tunnel slightly waters my eyes.

They all help me up on my feet and walk out the door smiling.
