Chapter 23: School competition

Lee Ji Eun's POV

"Bye Eomma" I gave a kiss on the lips of my mom and went to school. Today is the day, 2018 School Competition.

*Tu Tump* 💗

Gosh I'm so nervous.

I enter the hallway and people were busy.

Crowded places...

I passed the peoples and quickly went to the field.

"Ji Eun Noona/Eonnie!!" Someone shouted my name.

"Oh So Hyun-ssi Ji Hoon-ssi" I walk towards them.

"Are you excited?" So Hyun ask me.

"Of course I'm not excited" I burried my face using both of my hands.

"Lee Ji Eun!!! your first game is Archery with Jeon Jung Kook his waiting for you at the archery side" Mr. Oh said and I nod then head to Jungkook.

"Here" He hand me the archery bow and 3 arrows.

*Tu Tump* 💗

Goshhhh I'm so nervous..

We took a seat and wait for the game to start.

"Ji Eun-ah make sure to get 10 points" Jungkook patted my head like a puppy and went to the archery target.

He started to aim the target and released his hand from the string. The arrow hit 9 points and all the cheerer from Dwlight School cheer Jungkook. He took a deep breath and start to aim again. He released his hand from the string once again and the arrow hit 10 points.

"Cheer for me babe" Jungkook winked at me and put the arrow on the archery bow. I cringe as he said that.

"Jeon Jung Kook! Jeon Jung Kook! Jeon Jung Kook!"

"See everybody cheer for me" He murmured that I could hear it. Same as always he released his hand from the string as the arrow hits 9 points.

I secretly clapped for him and he sit down beside me.

"It's your turn" He smirk.

Please don't be nervous...

I took a deep breath and start to aim the target.

"Lee Ji Eun Lee Ji Eun" Jungkook at the back cheer for me, I released my hand from the string as the arrow hit 6 points.

"Lee Ji--- WOOOOO!!" Jungkook clapped.

My first game has ended and I fail since I only got 6,5, and 0

Me and Jungkook took a rest as we went to the canteen to buy a bottled of water. I drink the water then burried my face.

"You did great, atleast you try" Jungkook said.

"It's all your fault if you didn't check the archery I won't be embarrassed" I look around and saw tzuyu with an old man, I think his it's her dad.

The old man turn his head. It's... d-dad..

I look away avoiding him being notice as Jungkook look at ne confused.

"Is there anything wrong?" He ask and I shook my head.

"4 x Run Relay! Will be started after 5 minutes" The announcer said. I stood up from the chair and went to the field.

"Ji Eun sweetie!" Someone shouted behind me and I turned my head at he back as I saw Eomma.

"E-Eomma!!" I shouted, I run and hugged her.

"You've come"

"Of course I'm gonna cheer you out there, let's go" Eomma broke the hug and we went to the field. Gossips were everywhere as they saw me and my mother walking through the field.

"She's Ms. Lee's daughter?!"

"Ji Eun is the daugther of Ms. Lee?!"

"Ms. Lee is a single mom?!"

"4 x Run Relay is now starting, Lee Ji Eun, Shin Jae Min, Park Rae Hwa and Chou Tzuyu, please be meet each other at the field" The instructor said.

I kiss Eomma's cheek at went to the field. I saw Jae Min and Rae Hwa waiting for me. I walk towards to them.

"Where's Tzuyu?" Jae Min ask and I shrug. Tzuyu came towards with his dad or my dad...

"Come'on girls go to your track lane" Same as always Rae Hwa is the first runner while Jae Min is the second as Tzuyu the third runner and me the fourth runner.

"On your mark"

"Get Set"

"GOO!!" The whistle blow and Rae Hwa started to run fast like a cheetah.

"GOOOOO RAE HWAAA!!!!" The people start cheering her as Rae Hwa run fast, Rae Hwa got second. She hand the baton to Jae Min as Jae Min is so ready to run. Jae Min passed the first runner and quickly gave the baton to Tzuyu. Tzuyu grab the baton from Jae Min's hand and quickly run. Tzuyu got passed by two runners makig her being in third place. Tzuyu hand me the baton and run fast like I got chase by a lion. The other school contestant almost got in the finisb line.

"Lee Ji Eun! Lee Ji Eun! GOOOOO LEE JI EUN!" Everyone cheer for me.

"Sweetie gooo!!!" I could hear my Eomma shout. I run fast that I fibally passed the first runner. I finally pass the finish line and my team mates except Tzuyu hug me.

"OMG IU WE GOT FIRST PLACE" Jae Min said.

"All thanks to out team work"
