I woke up at around 8AM. I looked at Drew's side and saw that he wasn't there. I'm pretty sure he is already polishing his appeals with Roselia. He's been working on that for a long time, and the moment he is waiting for is finally coming. His contest starts in 2 days.

After putting on my pink headband, I went outside to do some training of my own. I went out back and saw Drew and Roselia. I didn't want to bother them. I could sense that they are both nervous for the contest. I just walked away and went around town while looking for a place to train.

While walking around, something caught my interest. It was the Devon Corporation. They had a tarpaulin about some promotion.

"Limited edition: Special Colored PokéNav!" It showed blue, pink, green and purple versions of the PokéNav.

I was really interested in the offer. I've always wanted to have own PokéNav. It functions as a map. If I get one, I wouldn't get lost anymore. I'll get to my gyms faster. The latest version does not only function as an ordinary map, but it also functions as a GPS. It also functions as a phone to contact other trainers. I gotta have it. And I want the special colored one! I don't want any normal yellow PokéNav. I want the pink one! Great, I'm acting like a spoiled little brat just because of this pink PokéNav. Whatever. I have to know how to get it.

A man approached me, seeing how interested how I was in getting the different colored PokéNav.

"Oh hello. I see you're interested in our offer." The man told me.

"Well...yes. How do I get one?" I asked him in an excited tone.

"I don't really know the mechanics. Mr. Stone set up this offer, but now he is nowhere to be found. He always wonders off like this. I still have to look for him. By the way, my name is Kennedy, Mr. Stone's assistant."

"My name is Milani, sir. Hmm...maybe Mr. Stone is around town advertising the offer."

"I doubt it. He is probably playing around again, how about you come back here a little later."

"Thank you." I said as I left.

I really wanted that PokéNav, so I hope I run into Mr. Stone. Hold on...Stone? Is he related to Steven Stone, the former champion of the Hoenn region? Hmm...I'm not sure. I haven't met Mr. Stone. I haven't met Steven in person. Never mind. I just hope I find the guy.

I got tired walking around, so I bought a soda at some convenience store. I continued walking while drinking my soda when I found this area where I can train. I can't believe I almost forgot my training just because of a pink PokéNav. I shook that off. I'll probably not see Mr. Stone, anyway. I'll have to settle with a plain PokéNav.

"Ok. Roselia and Treecko, it's time to shine!" I said as I brought out the two grass types. I'm planning on using both of them in my gym battle. The only problem is that they don't have enough experience. Even if that's the case, they were really good against those poachers, so I think they can handle the gym.

I saw a large rock and decided that we will practice our attacks using that. The Rustboro gym is a rock type gym after all.

"Roselia, use Magical Leaf. Treecko, use Pound." I said as the Pokémon executed the moves.

"Good job, both of you. Still, it would be a lot better if we were battling instead."

Suddenly, I heard someone approaching us.

"How about you battle with us, Milani? We have not battled since Littleroot Town. I bet you have gotten stronger since then." He told me. I looked up and saw my rival, Jonny. Great...I still remember what Drew told me before we left for Route 101. I said that I didn't want to see him until after Drew's contest. I better not make this awkward, though. After all, Drew is practicing with Roselia.
