"And I just knew he was the one, you know? He was such a flirt and so charming at the same time. I just found myself constantly going back to him and I mean let's not ignore the fact that he's probably the hottest guy I have ever laid eyes on."

I slowly nodded my head and sent her a small smile while I continued to play with my bracelet. I've been siting here for a few minutes now listening to Elizabeth explains the day her and Justin met and quite frankly I wasn't really interested in such a story.

I just really didn't see the point of her-

"And you know what's funny? When Justin and I started dating he never mentioned anything about having a best friend."

I cleared my throat and removed my hands from my bracelet before looking over at her. I watched her carefully as she leaned over and grabbed her water bottle.

"I mean I'm sure he has a perfectly good reason why he didn't but seeing how close you guys are, I thought maybe he would mention you at least once during our conversations."

I stared at her and tried to register her words correctly. I was in shock believe it or not especially since Justin was always on my case about telling my boyfriends I had him as a best friend.

I just didn't understand why I had to tell them when clearly he didn't think it was important to bring me up during his conversations.

I shook my head and proceeded to respond to Elizabeth.

"Oh I'm sure you guys had way more important things to talk about than our friendship."

She slowly nodded her head and took another sip of her water before shifting her attention to my bracelet.

"So tell me about your bracelet. It's beautiful."

I glanced down at the item before meeting her gaze again.

"Oh, it was a friendship gift. Nothing important." I stated

A small laugh left her lips as she ran her hands through her hair.

"Nothing important? Justin's name is written all over it honey, it has to be important."

Her eyes glanced at my wrist once more before clearing her throat.

"I mean, I guess so. He gave it to me one night while we were celebrating our friendship and I haven't taken it off since." I explained

"Does he have one?"

" A bracelet? No. He has a necklace though."

"Oh the gold one!"

"Yes, exactly."

"I'm pretty sure it has something written on it. I just never had time to actually see what it says."

"It's my name." I informed her

She nodded slowly before reaching over and grabbing a strand of her hair.

"He never takes it off, you know? Even when he sleeps."

A small laugh left my lips and I shook my head at the thought of Justin being a dork and smiled to myself.

"Well I never take mine off so I guess we're-

"I really hope he gets me something for our anniversary. It's coming up in a few days, you know."

I raised my eyebrow and listened to her change the subject once again. It was a never ending cycle of me being interrupted once I began to talk about Justin.
