A man opened the door and he saw Freedom he walked fast and went to the counter

"Diyos ko! I'm so sorry Sir I was fixing a music box, now what could I do for you?"

Freedom looked at him and smiled

"Mind if you would fix my music box?"

The owner of the store smiled and grabbed the music box and opened it "Hmm...I could..."

Freedom smiled and paid for it and walked out of the music box store he walked to the streets and looked around the city the buildings we're tall and papers plastered all over to the sides he thought it was like New York how he such missed his home but he longs for someone that truly wanted to confess he stopped at the coffee shop and looked through the crystal and saw a familiar man that was so kind to him and a slender-curvy woman talking to him he furrowed his eyebrows and opened the door of the coffee shop.

He went towards to they're table he stopped and the man stood up and smiled wide "Uncle Oxford?" his widened with surprise Oxford smiled and hugged him tightly

"My nephew I missed you so much!" Freedom rolled his eyes and pulled his uncle away from the alluring woman he whispered to his uncle's ear

"Why is she here?!" Oxford inhales deeply

"I know she was your past lover but she is a kind-hearted woman!"

Freedom stepped back and puts his hands on his waist and laughed "Kind? What's gotten into you!?" he went in front to the woman who was drinking coffee she looked above Freedom and smiled

"How is my apple doing?" she smiled and Freedom took a deep breath and grabbed her wrist and took her outside of the coffee shop

"I don't know your schemes Audrey I know what you are...And I'm going to dig deeper...And I know your confidants..." Audrey smiled sweetly she pulled her hand away from his grip and she crossed her arms and raised her left eyebrow

"Then try Freedom...I'll be waiting..."

"Who is she Freedom?"

Freedom looked at his back and saw Maria and he grabbed Maria's hand "Let's get out of here.." He walked away while grabbing Maria's hand and she followed him, Maria looked back and saw the beautiful-blonde woman her height was tall and she has a slender-curvy body she stopped and he looked back and he tilted his head

"Why did you stopped...?" he covered his mouth and sighs

"Does she bother you...?" Maria nodded "Who was she?" she raised her eyebrow ".

"She was the snake that forced me to eat the fruit....anyways...Let's go back to the mansion...and discuss it there"

Maria nodded and outstretched her arms "Lead the way then..."

He rolled his eyes and he walked beside with her, after a long walk they arrived at the mansion Sumato was already in the dining room he was drinking coffee while writing a report using a paper, Freedom entered the dining room and covered the windows with the curtains then letting in Maria then closed the door.

Sumato stood up and freaked out

"Is it the end of the world!?" Sumato hid below the table, Freedom rolled his eyes

"No! You know "her" she is here in Philippines!"

Sumato crawled out of the table and stood up

"Oh! The "her"?" Freedom nodded and Sumato breathes in "Please you two do sit down..." Maria and Freedom took a sit and Maria crossed his arms

"Now do explain".

Sumato sighs and looked at Freedom gesturing him if he should tell it to Maria and Freedom in respond he nodded

"Her name is Audrey Z. Johnson she was a past lover of Freedom well you could tell she is sweet and innocent but in the inside she is a snake...she leaked American military information...to the Japs...She is smearing the good name of America...she wants Freedom back if he dosen't like her back she will find a way to bring him back..."

Sumato stood up and sighs "I'll get more information...you could trust me pal..."

Sumato winked at his best friend, Freedom smiled and patted Sumato's back

"That's what friends do...I must finish the reports please do excuse me..." He smiled and grabbed his papers and walked out of the dining room.

Maria touched Freedom's shoulder and he looked at her "Let me help you...."

Freedom holds both of her hands and looked at her eyes deeply

"I don't want you to join my chaotic world...It's much riskier..." Maria sighs

"Freedom I am your comrade when you have problems I'm here to help you..." Freedom looked down and pressed his lips to both of her hands he hugged her tightly and Maria smiled and patted his back.

Maria walked to the door and she opened it and saw Juan

"Freedom I'll be back..." Freedom nodded

"I'll let you two have a private time..."

Maria walked out of the house and closed the door

"Please do follow me Juan..." Juan smiled wide and followed Maria, she walked through the garden full of roses and trees she sat down on a white chair and the maid puts down the tray and grabs the two cups of coffee above the table and left.

She glared at Juan and scuffs "Stop calling me flower...."

Juan laughs and smiled "I'm a man who loves beautiful yet useless things"

He took a sip of the cup of coffee

"I must've made another mistake or you dislike me for all reasons..." Maria continued to glare at him

"I'm not sure if I like you or not...Cause we only meet rarely..."

Juan smiled

"Then we should meet all the time so you could like me..."

Maria sighs "All I want is to annul the marriage..." Juan chuckles

"No, don't i like you too much for that..." Maria raised her eyebrows

"Now? At first I waited for you...After years passed...I started hearing disgraceful rumours about you....

"My grandfather was concerned...And I cursed you so much...And I was very disappointed...But a promise between families is a promise between me..."

Juan looked away and looked down

"If a man cannot keep promise to a woman...What can he keep?"

She asked coldly "Just like that I forgot you..." Juan looked at her

"So did you thought about me?" Maria raised her eyebrow

"We should forget each other..." she looked away not wanting to see his face, and gave him a small box and Juan stared with it

"Why are you giving your engagement ring to me...?" Maria took a sip of the coffee and puts the cup down

"I just don't want you..." Juan smiled and sighs

"How about we just we become friends...?" he asked; Maria laughed

"Just like that?" Juan nodded "Do you have another man in your heart?" Juan asked

"What if I do?"

Maria stood up and walked away and she walked up to the stairs and Juan chased her

"Please Maria! Let's talk this out!" Freedom stopped in front of Juan and pushed him away

"Get out now...she needs some space..." Juan looked down and walked out of the house and closed the door on his way out.
