-Y/N-

I wasn't used to getting my way. It was odd. Levi and Erwin helped me to my goal.

Did they know my plan? Impossible, no one knows I know Levi, except for him. He didn't know anything about me and I didn't see why he'd be interested in me. I wasn't reputable or important.

After the trial, a woman with glasses and a ponytail escorted me to the scouts headquarters.

Everything seemed like it was going fast because I basically learned everything about this woman. Her name is Hanji and was a scientist who did experiments related to titans to learn more about them. She was smart but I had to say, a little psycho.

We walked down the hallway, to my room.

Surprisingly it wasn't a jail cell. It was small, simple room. With a bed and desk. I didn't have my roommates and was secluded into the corner of the hallway.

There were other rooms in the hallway but I had no idea what were in those.

"By tomorrow you're going to go through a hell of training. But I've heard interesting things. You've knocked down Levi, yeah? I think training will go by a breeze for you" she winked.

It was weird. I never had anyone be so - casual. Everyone has either hated me or praised me, but she just saw me as a person.

I was in awe. She treated me normally, and for once, I genuinely smiled.

"Thanks, Hanji"

It was late at night and I walked to my room after a tour of the place.

Unfortunately there were not really any bright lights in the hallway and I couldn't tell which was my room. Once I thought I reached the end I opened the door.

As soon as I opened the door, I came face to face to none other than Levi.

I internally shrieked and closed the door.

My cheeks burned. I can't believe I just opened the wrong room, and it had to be Levi's. My room was next to Levi's?! I ran into my room once I figured out where I was.

My back was against the door frame and I stayed there for a minute. For some reason, I always felt weird about Levi's presence. I don't know if it was the hate but he made me want to run away.

I took a few breaths and calmed down. Walking to my bed, I was about to slip under the covers when there was a faint knock on my door.

I opened the door, "Hanji, I found my room don't worr-" I stopped when I looked and saw Levi in front of me.

"Did you need something?" I said, confused.

"You're asking me that? You nearly just walked into my room as soon I was going to grab more tea"

"That was an accident." I rolled my eyes and pushed the door hard to close it, but he wedged his shoe in between to stop that. He grunted at the force I put on the door.

"If you had slammed that door, everyone would've woken up."

"Great, thanks for the heads up. Good night." And attempted to shove his foot away.

"Aren't you happy that you got what you wanted?"

I paused.

"How would you have known if I wanted to be part of the scouts? I could care less about the scouts."

"Really? Then why did you insist on a trial? There's no way you could have escaped death."

"Why did you help me then? You supported what I was saying basically" I fired back.
