"Bye mum!" said the young Brit as he exited the front door to his house.
Today was his first day going to school in America and he was determined to make friends.
Unfortunately... he got lost and he was very late for school and so he started to ask around and a woman gave him a shortcut through the woods.
Hesitant at first he went, if someone tried to attack him he was VERY fast.
Time skip 10 mins later Grian POV
"NO NO NO NO" I said I'm going to be sooo late!
So much for good first impressions I thought.
I kept running until even tho I was late I took in the beautiful forest I was in.
Until distant sobbing broke me out of my trance peaking my curiosity. I searched and followed the sound until it lead me to a crying girl.
"Are you ok?" I asked stepping towards her.
As she looked up my heart skipped a beat.
She had bright blue eyes like me strawberry blonde hair like me
She was so beautiful, I could feel my face heating up at the sight of her...... No! bad Grian don't you remember what happened the last time you fell for someone.
"What do you want to point at me and laugh at me?!" She said
She looked so so so broken.
"N...o No! Of course not" I said frantically " I just wanted to see if you were okay"
R-r-really? She asked her voice shaky tears still leaking.
I gave her a gentle nod and looked through my bag for my tissue.
"Here you go"I said gently
She looked at me hesitantly but gratefully took one.
"Thank you so much" she said with more tears.
"W-what happened.. I asked
She looked at me and I instantly said
Y-y-you don't have to tell me if you don't want u-u-unless you want I-I-I-in which case" I quickly said stuttering and blushing more and more with each word.
She smiled slightly at my silliness and giggled a bit sending butterflies through my stomach.
"I-I'm sorr-"
"No no" she said cutting me off
"I thought it was really cute"she said with a big smile making me blush.
But then the smile vanished replaced with a frown remembering the question I asked.
"E-e-every day of my life I've been picked on by these really mean boys a-a-and yesterday all my friends ditched me saying I was a looser"she said tears threatened to spill from her eyes.
I placed my hand on her shoulder and said "don't worry I'll be your friend" I said
"R-r-really?!" She said as her face lit up
I gave her a nod and she jumped up in excitement and hugged me making me a blushing mess.
"Thank you!" She said and I hugged back.
We ended the hug and blushed at what just happened.
I stuck my hand out to shake.
