Jin sneaked a look behind the aisle, he was standing behind and saw his boyfriend, looking at some food. Jin, as quietly as he could, sneaked up behind him and when he reached him put his hands on his sides while yelling: "Boo!" His boyfriend Hoseok yelled out from surprise and his whole body jolted away from Jin. Hoseok's outburst had attracted the attention of the people around them, as Jin laughed out loud.
"Don't ever do that again Kim Seokjin or I swear the breath you will take following will be as a single man." Hoseok scolded his older boyfriend. Jin tried hard not to laugh as he put his arms around Hoseok.
"I'm sorry babe, it was just the perfect opportunity." Jin said as Hoseok narrowed his eyes at him. "Please don't be mad." Hoseok took a deep breath and gentle shook his head a smile creeping up on his lips.
"Fine." Hoseok said and shook his head once more. "You're lucky you're so charming and that I love you so much." He said while putting his arms around Jin.
"Very lucky." Jin replied and planted a kiss on Hoseok's cheek.
"And now that you're here, you can help me choose dinner." Hoseok said and turned around, looking at the meat in front of him.
"I'll cook for you tonight, consider it an official apology, so I think we should get a nice steak." Jin said and looked at the meat.
"Well I'm not going to say no to that." Hoseok smiled.
Twenty minutes later they were out the store, holding hands as they walked down the street. Even though it was cold outside and the wind was pulling in them, the sun was shining and it was a nice day.
"By the way, we have to find out what we want to do for our anniversary next month." Hoseok said and squeezed Jin's hand.
"Right, well whatever you want to do I'm on board." Jin smiled to his loved boyfriend.
"I don't know." Hoseok shrugged. "We always have dinner and then watch a movie, maybe we should try something diffrent this year."
"What about we watch a movie and then have dinner?" Jin said already cracking up by his own wittiness.
"I can't believe I've survived five years with that kind of humor." Hoseok said but couldn't help to smile.
"What do you mean? I'm hilarious." Jin stated and Hoseok laughed by his offended tone.
"Of course you are babe." Hoseok said and patted the hand he was already holding.
"Well you know there will be a fair in town. We could go to that." Jin suggested as they walked around a corner.
"But we are both too scared to go on rides." Hoseok reminded him.
"Well maybe it's the year to be brave. We can cling to each other and be happy that we're alive when we get down on the ground. And it's not only rides, there are small games too." Jin said as they walked into their apartment. "Plus there will be food." Jin said as they put their bags on the kitchen counter.
"Fine, you have me convinced. Let's go to the fair." Hoseok said and wrapped his arms around Jin's waist so he embraced him in a backhug.
"It's going to be good. I'm already excited." Jin said and turned around, still staying in Hoseok's arms.
"Me too." Hoseok said and then got quiet as Jin caressed his cheek. Jin would sometimes do that, just look at Hoseok while taking him in and following would come a cheesy line, that would make Hoseok's heart flutter and his legs melt beneath him.
"You're beautiful in every possible way, you know that right? I really love you and I know there will never be another person, I'll love or adore as much as I do with you. You're my everything." Jin said in a gentle tone, and there was no trace of his goofy smile, he usually had plastered on. He was serious about what he said, and Hoseok knew it.
"I love you too Jin. My soulmate." Hoseok said and then Jin was leaning down connecting their lips in a sweet kiss. Jin had moved his hand so he held Hoseok's chin and the other was pressing him closer with every second there went. Hoseok loved kissing Jin like this, where they stood so close and only sensed each other and it was like there was no other breathing creature in the world. At last they pulled away and Hoseok felt the heat rise to his cheeks. Even after five years Jin could still make him dizzy with love.
"I'll get started on the dinner now, okay love?" Jin asked and let his thumb go over his lips.
"Okay." Hoseok answered and perked Jin's lips before going to the living room. He sat down and turned on the tv, finding some show hopefully worth watching. Though his eyes drifted over to a picture of him and Jin taken the first year they were together, they were both smiling on the picture while holding each other tightly. Hoseok couldn't help but smile, he always felt lucky to have found Jin, even in the moments where they fought so much, Hoseok started to cry. He always knew they would make it through. Periods of their lives may be tough as times but they would always have each other. Hoseok knew that for certain because never had he loved anyone as much as he loved Jin, and it would forever be that way.
