- Sometimes even to live is an act of courage-
Aurelia POV
I knocked on Dr. Carson's door. Daryl stood besides me as I was shaking. I was scared, I don't want to have a child. The door opened, but it wasn't who I thought would answer. Glenn stood in front of me, and confusion began growing on his face.
"What are you doing here?" Glenn asked me, looking over at Daryl.
"Uh, when Nathan pushed me, I think I had hurt my arm, I landed on it and it hurts really bad" I lied. Glenn nodded, letting us in. Maggie was on the bed, taking something that Dr. Carson gave her. Maggie looked at me and smiled.
"Look" She said, walking over to me, showing me a picture. I took the picture and looked at it. It was a ultrasound. A picture of her unborn child. I smiled and handed it back to her.
" Congrats Maggie" I told her. Maggie smiled as both her and Glenn left the trailer.
" I heard what you told Glenn, lets check out that arm" Dr. Carson told me.
"Actually, that was a lie. My arms is perfectly fine" I told him, shifting my weight around. Dr. Carson gave me a funny look as he looked between me and Daryl.
"Then what is it?" He asked me. I looked over at Daryl, who nodded at me. I took in a deep breath, looking back at Carson.
"I'm also pregnant" I told him, causing him to go wide eyed.
" Oh wow. Is it yours?" Carson asked, looking over at Daryl. Both me and Daryl shook our head no.
"Uh no, I barely know Aurelia" Daryl said, and I was surprised how he was able to pronouce my name right.
"Oh" Carson said.
"Yeah. Anyway, when I had fell, I had landed on my stomach, I was wondering if maybe you could see if anything bad happened" I asked Carson. Carson smiled and nodded, pointing to the bed. I got on the bed as Daryl sat in the chair besides the bed. Dr. Carson grabbed the ultrasound thingy, and rubbed some gel on it. He turned on the machine and looked at me.
"It's gonna be a little cold" He told me. I nodded as he placed the the thing that detects the baby on my stomach. He moved it around until he found the baby. Carson smiled as he looked at it.
"Your baby seems fine, and healthy. You got lucky with your fall" Carson told me. I sighed, nodding at his words.
"How far along am I?" I asked him. Carson looked around a little bit.
"From what I can tell, about 4 months" He told me. which sounded about right.
"Do you want to know the gender?" Carson asked me, a huge smile on his face. My eyes widened, you can already tell the gender? I mean, I know I have a baby bump and all, I just didn't expect to tell. I'm able to hide my baby bump, by wearing clothes that are huge on me.
"You can tell the gender already?" I asked him. Carson nodded and I looked over at Daryl. Hoping that he'll tell me what I should do. He could tell that I wanted to know what he thinks.
"Ya should know so that we can start getting clothes an such" Daryl told me. I nodded, looking back at Carson.
" I want to know" I told him. Carson smiled and nodded.
"Well, congratulations, you're having a baby girl" Carson told me. My eyes widened, it's a girl?! I still can't believe that this is happening. This shouldn't be happening. I nodded as Carson put up the machine and wiped off all the left over gel that was on my stomach.
"Thanks" I told Carson, getting up from my seat.
"Aurelia" Carson said. I looked up at him, seeing worry in his eyes.
