CHAPTER EIGHT - TO THE LIGHTHOUSE

Harry nodded at Louis' command making his weak knees move despite the initial protest and Louis directed him over to the bed before letting go of him. Harry got changed quickly and shoved the remainder of his clothes into his bag, his hands shaking nervously and his stomach churning.

He looked under the bed where Ferdinand had run and he held his hand out. Ferdinand came running over and he placed him on the top of his other things as the other two did up their bags as well and they all stood up.

"What do we do?" Harry whisper shouted to Louis as a loud crash sounded down below them in the bar and a few of the patrons screamed from their rooms. Louis looked a little lost on how to answer him, looking more unsure than Harry had ever seen him before as his eyes darted over Harrys features quickly.

"It's a fight or flee situation." He said at last moving to grip Harrys wrist as Harry put his bag over his shoulder.

"Flee. We should definitely flee," Niall said moving things around to check they had everything. There was another loud bang from down below that shook the floor slightly and Harry looked down and gulped.

"Barricade the door," Louis said turning them to the door, Harry stumbled when he was bought to a sudden stop as they turned to the door and saw Max for the first time since their panic started. He'd been so quiet Harry had almost forgotten he'd been in the room, and now he wished he hadn't.

He was grinning at them, cold and soullessly. His arms were still crossed and he was leant against the door with one leg up resting on it, Louis' grip on Harrys wrist tightened and he was pulled back into Louis' side.

"What do you think you're doing?" asked Niall with a sharp edge to his voice that Harry had never heard before. Louis let go of Harrys wrist and moved to step forward, his hand pushing Harry behind him and Max gave a cold laugh that made Harry shudder.

"I wouldn't move if I were you," Max said in a calm voice and Harry took Louis' wrist this time as Harry knew he wasn't about to stop and Harry had a bad feeling Max would hurt him if he didn't.

"What's going on?" Louis asked him sternly coming to a stop and eyeing Harry out of the corner of his eye.

Max didn't answer but instead lazily pushed himself off the door and turned to unlock it before smirking over his shoulder at Louis.

"You led me right to him," He said and Harry saw Louis' fists clench beside him. Harry ran his thumb over Louis' wrist feeling his pulse thumping beneath it.

"What are you on about?" asked Niall as more screams sounded from downstairs, the men were obviously ransacking the bar and messing with the frightened customers.

"It's going just as Zaphior predicted," smiled Max taking a step towards them, Louis took a step back into Harry, putting his arm out seemingly protecting him from Max much to Harrys confusion because to his knowledge Louis had never tried to protect Harry from anything before.

"You were working for him the whole time," growled Louis while Harry took his time to assess his surroundings, to see if he could spot an easy way out of the situation.

Harry tried not to make any reaction as he heard Nialls voice fill his head, like it was echoing around the room. It was something Niall had often used to do on the ship to make Harry jump when he was doing things, he could project his thoughts into others heads and with the very small breath hitch Louis gave and the small step back into Harrys chest, he was projecting his voice into his head too.

'All three of us go for him on my count,' his voice said and Harry licked his dry lips nervously and looked down at Louis who was steadily watching Max. Harry couldn't see how they could get out of this, even if they over powered Max, whos power he didn't even know yet, there were four big men downstairs looking for him.
