Unlike most of the towns they had visited along their journey, this one was huge in comparison. It spread over at least a couple of miles and the houses were packed close together while shops ran along roads for as far as the eye could see.
They all stared in wonder as they took the caravan into the centre, following the cobbled streets to a place it said they could keep their caravan.
"This is huge," Harry said, "I suppose people who've come through the valley never want to go back and they've all settled here."
He grinned and Louis shrugged eyeing the passers by as they walked. Everyone was watching the caravan but they seemed to just be admiring it rather than eyeing it with suspicion. It seemed this town was used to travellers passing through it and Harry felt like perhaps this time they'd be able to blend into the crowd better and not have so much attention on them.
They parked up a caravan in a field with a few others and they made sure to lock it up tightly just in case someone went looking through their stuff, harry couldn't help but smile when he thought about someone coming face to spout with Ferdinand for the first time. Anyone would be concerned by a hyperactive teapot running at them.
"This place is amazing." Niall said in awe as they looked at the streets filled with people. They all slowly joined the crowd making sure to stick together and Harry was quick to find Louis' arm and link it with his own.
They looked in the many shop windows as they passed by and looked in other exotic looking boutiques. They followed the crowd towards the real centre of the town which seemed to be arranged around a large cathedral .
It loomed above them with all its gothic glory and they all stood staring up at it.
"Now that's what I want my house to look like when I'm older." Zayn said slowly grinning. Harry thought it suited him, it was dark in a beautiful way and the detailing put into the stonework was incredible.
"Think how long it would take to clean." Louis said and Harry grinned.
"But think how many books you could fit in it." He grinned wider when Louis; eyes seemed to shine brighter.
"Lets all chip in and buy it."
"I think between us we have a hundred, and I have some thread, two random buttons, a stupid teapot and half a soggy apple." Niall said.
"You're not using Ferdinand." Harry scowled as Louis grinned and squeezed Harrys arm.
"That should bag us it." Liam deadpanned before they all laughed and moved on to the market. It was bustling with life and Niall perked up even more when he saw the street performers.
There was a man breathing fire not far from them and he pulled them all over to it where they all stood with the crowd watching on all impressed with the act.
"Whatever you do, do not try that." Louis muttered to Harry, "You'd set yourself and the town on fire."
"All part of the act," Harry chuckled. "I wouldn't want to anyway, I've enough of a circus act in Ferdinand. We could set up an act where I get him to jump through hoops."
"He can't even jump though." Louis grinned. "You could get him to spray people with water though, I bet they'd all love that."
The sarcasm was strong and Harry smiled as he looked back to the fire eater. He could sense the magic on him from where he was standing and he leant back into Louis to whisper in his ear.
"He's cheating anyway, he's a fire bender." He said as quietly as possible and Louis' eyes lit up.
"Maybe thats how I should earn my millions, join the circus and pretend to read peoples futures."
