Narrator's Pov:

August 25th was the day that Niall first started kindergarten. He met a boy in his class named Liam. At lunch, they sat together and Niall even offered Liam some of his food. They played together at recess. Some of the other kids started making fun of Niall and Liam for hanging out together.

August 25th was the day Niall started feeling depressed in 5th grade. He would compare himself to others in his grade including Liam. He thought he wasn't as good as anyone else and thats why kids picked on him.

August 25th was the day Niall got beat up in the gym locker room in 8th grade. All the kids turned on him calling him names and taking turns throwing punches at him.

August 25th was the day Niall made his first cut his freshman year of high school. He cut his upper thigh so no one would see. He has been feeling depressed and upset for quite some time but today was the final straw. People at school have been making fun of him. He's also been developing romantic feelings for his close friend Liam. He knew the feelings were wrong but he couldn't just forget about them. They clouded his mind.

August 25th was the day Liam started abusing drugs, cigarettes and alcohol. He started using them to keep himself from feeling any type of feeling he had toward everything. But overtime, he became addicted to them. He didn't like anything at all. He became disinterested in everything and spent most of his time at home. The only person Liam would talk to was Niall. Niall was always there for Liam whenever he was feeling upset.

August 25th was the day Liam accidentally kissed Niall. The tragic mistake, turned into love. Niall admitted his feelings towards Liam. Even though Liam never thought about a relationship with Niall, he accepted it because it felt right. Niall made Liam happy and Liam made Niall feel better.

August 25th was the day Niall gave up his virginity to Liam. If he was going to lose it to anyone, he wanted it to be with Liam. They spent all night going at it. Niall felt a little bit uncomfortable but he wanted Liam to be happy.

August 25th was the day Niall and Liam got into a giant fight. They've been getting into fights about stupid things constantly. Liam spent night after night at the bar and Niall was beginning to get angry at him for not being home. Liam yelled at Niall for hours and Niall stood back and took it. Liam slammed the door and left the house for the night. He left Niall in tears. He decided that tonight would be the night. He left a note on the coffee table. On the front, it said "Liam". On the inside, it said "Sorry."

August 25th was the day Liam stood over a grave. He looked at the tomb stone and began talking. "Im sorry. I didn't know how much I hurt you at the time. You told me how much you were hurting on the inside but I ignored it. I shouldn't have. Its been a year since you tied that rope around your neck. I miss you a lot." He paused for a moment. "But Im coming to meet you again." He pulled the trigger.
