"have you even talked to him yet?" Solbi asked her, they watched you intently, your chest heaving as you laughed with your friends.
"he drove me here the other day," she recalled, "it was freezing outside. i guess i just happened to walk at the right time."
solbi snorted, "how are your love letters coming?"
"they aren't love letters!" she rebuttals, her eyes bulging out as she stared at Solbi.
solbi laughed it off, picking at her vegetables that stuck to her tray.
"does he even like you back?"
she shook her head, unsure of the answer.
"i'd like to let him decide, he'll come around when he's ready."
-but she wasn't sure he'd ever come round'.
