Hello!! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Been pretty busy, especially with getting back to school after winter break ended. Happy New Year, everyone!! Here we go, 2019! Bring it on.
-----------------

Hunter screamed loudly, leaping into the air just as Herobrine disappeared. She hit the stone ground in the cave but then got up immediately.

"Herobrine, get your ass back here right now!" she screamed.

There was no reply. Hunter huffed, her face bright red with anger. She spun around to face the others (who all looked pretty shook at the fact that she was this angry).

Crafter put his hand on her shoulder. "Hunter, calm down..."

"Calm down? CALM DOWN?! My best friend in the whole world was just kidnapped by someone who's extremely likely to kill him, and you expect me to CALM DOWN?!" Hunter was furious. "I swear to God, I am going to catch Herobrine, and when I do, I am going to tear him limb from limb for what he did! He is going to-"

She stopped, seeing the looks on her friends' faces.

"Sorry," she said softly.

"No, it's fine," Monet said. "I'll join you in whatever you decide to do. Don't worry."

"Monet, no." Crafter shot her a stern look. "Hunter, don't worry. We're going to get him back, I promise you."

"How?" Hunter asked. "How can you promise that? We don't know where he is. We don't know if he's even still alive. After all, it's been almost a full minute. I'll bet Herobrine has already killed him, knowing him."

"We just will," Crafter said. "Okay? I..." He sat down on the ground, looking at the others. "Can I talk to Hunter alone? Please?"

Digger looked confused. "Well... okay, Crafter. Come on, guys. We'll go."

The others looked nervously at each other, but they exited the cave nonetheless.

Once they were out of sight, Crafter leaned back on the wall. "Hunter, look. I don't know if we're going to get him back."

"You just said we were going to."

"But... I don't know if I meant it. Herobrine is insanely dangerous. He scares me, Hunter."

"You sound like Gameknight."

"I'm serious, Hunter. Gameknight lost his memories. He doesn't know who we are anymore. Would it really be that bad if... if we maybe ditched him for a little bit? At least until we make a plan?"

Hunter froze, staring blankly down at Crafter.

"I know it sounds cruel. But I'm serious. Gameknight can fend for himself. He's done it before. Without his memories, he doesn't really mean much to Minecraft anymore. I think we can leave him there-"

He was cut off by Hunter slapping him across his face. "Are you insane, Crafter?!" she screamed. "Leave him there?! Are you freaking kidding me?!"

Crafter rubbed the side of his cheek. "No..."

"I can't believe you! What kind of potion did you drink last night?! Something is wrong with your head, Crafter." She slapped him again. "Listen here, Crafter. I don't care if I die. I don't care if we all die. But WE ARE NOT LEAVING GAMEKNIGHT IN THERE. I mean it, mister. Do you realize what could happen to him if we did? Clearly ya don't, because if you did, then you would NOT have just said that right now."

"Hunter, stop shouting!" Crafter hissed. "You're gonna get me in trouble!"

"I don't care! You just- I-" Hunter glared at him. "I can't believe you. I just can't. Why in the name of the Oracle would you even THINK to say that! Did Herobrine do something to you, too?"

He shook his head. "Hunter, come on. Think of the logic of my idea."

"Logic?! Screw logic! You just suggested that Gameknight- your best friend in the whole entire world- die so you can save yourself!"

"Hunter, stop and think. Gameknight barely remembers us. He doesn't really know who any of us are. We don't mean anything to him. We'd be saving all of our lives if we just let Herobrine keep him for a little while. I'm not saying we ditch him forever- just for a little while."

Hunter sighed, standing back up. "Crafter, no. It's not happening. I don't want to die, I will admit that, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't risk my life to save him. I know we don't mean a lot to Gameknight... but doesn't he mean something to you? Does the fact that he lost his memories mean that he's worthless to you?" She was starting to tear up. "Aren't you still his friend? He needs you, Crafter. If he was still your friend, would you really abandon him for your own safety like you are? Please, Crafter. Don't leave him."

Crafter stared at her, taking in her words. "That's very nice of you, Hunter... but I can't do this anymore. I'm not risking my life to save someone who doesn't care about me. You can do whatever you want... but leave me out of it."

Hunter gasped, crying. Her voice was weak. "Crafter. What has gotten into you?"

"Nothing. I'm finally being a sensible person. What's wrong with that?"

Hunter took a step back. "I hate you," she whispered. "You don't act like this, Crafter. You don't abandon your friends in the face of danger. What has happened to you?"

Crafter said nothing.

"That's what I thought," Hunter said, walking away.

"I'm done."

Whoo! What a chap. I do NOT know what I was thinking. Where am I even going with this? I have no idea.

Okay- I'm going to ask your opinion on something. Again. I know I keep doing this, but I want y'all to have an impact on this story.

So, you know the ordeal with Crafter up there? Yeah... do you think I should make him join Herobrine's side? Just a thought.

Please give your opinion in the comment section.
