Herobrine and Hunter both whipped around, staring at the newcomer. He was shorter than the both of them, and he didn't look very old at all. He had shaggy blonde hair and cobalt blue eyes that practically glowed. He was wearing deep black armor that shone purple whenever he moved, and he had a long sword that was shining the same way.

"Who are you?!" Herobrine barked, standing in front of Gameknight protectively.

The mysterious boy laughed. "Please move, Herobrine. You're in my way."

Hunter stood up next to him. "Answer his question," she said. "I'd honestly like to know that as well."

"Don't you recognize me, Hunter?" the boy asked. "Seriously. You know exactly who I am."

Hunter looked at Herobrine for advice, who just shrugged.

"That's it- this is taking too long," the boy said. "Listen, you two. Hunter, you definitely know me, and Herobrine, you should know me. My name... is Crafter."

Hunter gasped. "Crafter? That's you?"

Crafter nodded. "And I'd quite appreciate it if you two get out of my way. There's something behind you that belongs to me."

Both of them looked at Gameknight, then back at Crafter. "What in the world are you talking about?" Hunter asked. "Gameknight doesn't belong to you. If he belongs to anyone... it's Herobrine."

Herobrine nodded slowly. "Yeah... what are you talking about?"

Crafter rolled his eyes. "Oh, my God. You're such morons. I don't have time to deal with your idiocy." He snapped his fingers, and suddenly, a huge force knocked Hunter and Herobrine away from Gameknight. Crafter chuckled. "Now... let's add a forcefield..." He snapped his fingers a second time, and an electric cage formed around him and Gameknight.

Hunter immediately got off her feet and ran towards the dome, banging on it. She turned to Herobrine. "Can't you blast it open or something?"

Herobrine shook his head. "Whatever that NPC did... it was powerful, even more powerful than what I can do. Nothing I can do can break this cage open."

Hunter kicked the dome again. "Crafter, stop this!" she screamed. "You don't know what you're doing."

Crafter teleported in front of her. "I know exactly what I'm doing," he snarled. "You and Herobrine have been in my way for too long. It's time you let me have what I want."

"What do you want, though?" Herobrine yelled. "You haven't exactly made that clear."

Crafter turned to him. "Isn't it obvious what I want?" he asked, a sly smile on his face. "I want Gameknight."

Hunter blinked twice. "Wha..."

Crafter rolled his eyes. "Come on. You've both had him for long enough. It's my turn. You don't know how long I've wanted him for."

"Hold on, hold on- I'm still extremely confused," said Hunter. "What do you mean, you want him?"

Crafter groaned loudly. "You idiots... I love him. Don't you see that? Why else would I basically hack into the universe to make sure you two couldn't get him?"

Herobrine and Hunter stared at each other.

"Haven't you two figured it out yet?" Crafter said. "Herobrine- the whole thing with Gameknight's heart not working if he loved you- that was my doing. I figured that if it hurt that bad, maybe he would give up on you." He frowned. "Sadly, that little boy just wouldn't stay away from you. Even though he was in pain, he still adored you. So I knew I had to do something else. There a simple potion that you can make to fix his heart problem, and everyone knew how to make it- well, everyone did know until I erased that from the memories of every person in the Minecraft universe.

"If I'm honest, I felt bad for him. But then I saw him kiss you, Herobrine, and that was the last straw. I knew the moment he passed out, you would come running to Hunter for help. So I stayed here and waited for you. And here you are."

Herobrine ran from his spot so he could face Crafter. "But why..." he asked. "Why would you do this to him?"

"It was a trap, don't you see that?" Crafter laughed. "Like I said, I knew you had to get help for him, so I planned everything out. And now look at the situation you're in- I've got Gameknight trapped. Away from you two. He's mine forever."

Hunter stared blankly at Crafter. A tear leaked from her eye. "Crafter..."

Herobrine put his arm around her shoulder. "It's going to be okay. Crafter loves him. He won't hurt him... right?"

Hunter shook her head. "I don't think so... but then again, he might. If he means what I think he means. You never... claimed him, did you?"

"No..." Herobrine said, then gasped. "No way... he isn't... is he?"

Crafter laughed loudly. "Finally, you two aren't acting like idiots for once!" he exclaimed. "Now, sit down and get comfy, guys, because this could go on for hours."

*one eternity later*

"There, there, Gameknight," Crafter whispered. "It's going to be okay."

Gameknight sobbed loudly.

"Shh... shh... I've got you..." the crafter replied. "It's almost over... just a few more minutes..."

Herobrine sat around the edge of the forcefield, not facing Crafter and Gameknight. He couldn't bear to watch. This was too awful to even address.

Hunter was pacing around the edge, casually staring at the two of them. She wasn't crying, and she didn't look angry. She just looked... shocked. Scared, almost.

Suddenly, the forcefield dissolved into the air. Crafter picked up Gameknight and carried him out of the area and over to Hunter and Herobrine.

"Here you go," Crafter said, laying him down. "Now, I don't care whoever keeps him as of right now, but just remember, you two- no matter who takes him home tonight, he will always belong to me. I claimed him. He's mine."

Gameknight moaned from the ground. Herobrine picked him, cradling him in his arms.

"Oh, and also-  be careful if you carry him home. He's... really hurt." Crafter laughed loudly. "Keep it in mind that I'll be back, and I'll do it to him again if either of you tries to interfere with me."

Gameknight moaned again, curling up into Herobrine's chest. Herobrine glanced down at the boy in his arms. Is he ever going to be the same again? he thought.

"Well, I hope to see you all around," said Crafter. "Just remember... he's mine."

With that, he teleported away.

Whoo! Talk about plot twists. If I'm honest, I was NOT expecting that to happen. It's just one of those things that comes to your mind.

Something's wrong with my mind.

I'll try updating again this weekend... but I have a problem. I don't know what to do next, but I don't want to end the book here! Please send me your ideas.

See you all!!!
