"Hey, man. What's up, Ela?"
I couldn't help but smile at him, despite being surprised.
"Peter, why aren't you on the bus?"
"I saw a spaceship, thought you might need some help."
I blushed as he removed one of his arms from the hold to help me up from the ground, but before I could say anything else, the titan grabbed Peter with his other hand and threw him toward the fountain.
"Come on, man!"
I flew over to Peter and checked to make sure he was okay, helping him just like he did a few seconds ago for me.
"Good thing you showed up when you did. It's getting a little out of control."
Peter looked behind me and suddenly shot webs from both his hands, swinging up into the air.
"What is this guy's problem, Mr. Stark?"
"He's from space. He came here to steal a necklace from a wizard."
"You know, just your average day in Manhattan," I shrugged as I threw him against the ground from where I stood. Peter tried to jump at him, but he grabbed him with his hammer and swung him around before releasing him. "Stop throwing my boyfriend around!"
Uncle Tony fired a few more blasts as I pulled Peter back toward us, allowing him to shoot out a web and swing right toward the titan. He tried to throw a taxi at Uncle Tony, but he blasted it in Peter's direction, who used his other web to throw it out of the way. He landed on the ground again, and just as the titan turned toward us, I slammed my staff down to form a shield around Peter and I. The titan struck it and caused me to stumble slightly, and I would've fallen if Peter didn't grab my shoulders and help me up.
"Ela, let me out. I'll deal with him." I whipped around to stare him in the eyes of his suit.
"What, you think I'm gonna let you deal with World of Warcraft over there all on your own?"
"I'm not alone. I've got Mr. Stark."
"Peter..."
A red, blue, and gold blur suddenly shot past us.
"Kid, that's the wizard. Get on it."
"On it."
Peter shot webs from each of his hands and launched himself after the plank that just flew by. I turned to glare at Uncle Tony as he fended off the titan with his shield.
"Seriously?"
"What? He can-" I threw the titan away from Uncle Tony before flying forward and kicking him in the arm. "-handle it."
"And if he runs into Voldemort?"
"I mean, he deals with you."
I removed a pebble from the dirt and chucked it at his helmet before ducking under another attempt at hitting me with the hammer and jumping up to kick the titan on his head. Uncle Tony fired a couple blasts before I slammed my staff down to throw him off balance, then launched forward and kicked him to the ground.
"Mr. Stark, I'm being beamed up."
I hesitated for a second, before lifting up a bench from the other end of the park and throwing it at the titan.
"The hell does he mean by-"
I looked up into the sky to see two tiny figures in a blue beam shooting down from the spaceship. My heart beat intensely against my chest as I watched it happen.
