Chapter 3 - Best friends

I went outside and sat on the back patio, it was freezing but I wasn't going to let dad see me break.

"Hey.. umm I brought you a blanket." Grayson said scratching the back of his head as he gave me the blanket

"Thanks.." I said gently taking it and covering myself

"It's beautiful out here isn't it" Grayson said standing next to me

"Yea... it is... I've missed it" I say staring into the sky

"Do you wanna sit down?" I ask moving over giving him room

"Sure" he says getting under the blanket

"So... modeling huh?"

"Yea... there's an agency that wants me to join them.." I say looking at him

"You just got home Eve.. maybe give it some time ?" He shrugged

"It's my dream Grayson... just like you and Ethan" I said bringing my head down

"Hey, give your dad time, he took it pretty hard when you had to leave he just wants the best for you" he said gently rubbing my back

"I know he does, I get it I do, but I know I can do this"

"Hey!" Ethan shouts as he comes out side
"Let's get a fire started!" He says as he starts the fire pit up

"Sounds great it's freezing !" I said trying to keep warm

"Here, move closer" Grayson says signaling me to get closer to him

"Move over give me room!" Ethan said sitting next to me

"We missed you Eve" Ethan hugged me

"I missed you guys too!" I said giving them a group hug

"Alright enough of that! She's my best friend!" Cameron said grabbing my hand and pulling me inside and up to her room

"Tell me everything!!" She said jumping on her bed

We talked about my time in Washington and her going off to college in Georgia, I really missed Cameron

"So boy crushes ??"

"Uhh yea.. kinda" I said avoiding to admit I liked her brothers

"Omg ! Who!"

"Just some guy..."

"What is he like!"

"Well... he is funny... sweet.. caring.. absolutely gorgeous.." I sighed

"Dang you got it bad!! He sounds dreamy!!"

If only she knew I was talking about the twins....
She would freak...

"So what's up with the modeling?"

"There is this agency and they want to sign me"

"That's awesome!"

"Yea, but my dad doesn't think it's a good idea since I have to live in Los Angeles"

"You know Grayson and Ethan live in LA now maybe your dad would be willing if you stayed with them ?"

"Seriously?! That would be awesome!"

"I'll talk to Grayson and Ethan for you, you just try to convince your dad"

"You are the greatest best friend ever !! Thank you thank you thank you !!" I jumped on her making us land on the floor laughing out asses off

Now I just have to convince my dad..

"Eve!! Time to go!!" My dad yelled from downstairs

As I walked out of Cameron's room after hugging goodbye I bumped into a shirtless Grayson

"Oop sorry Eve" Grayson chuckled

"Umm bye Grayson" I said while blushing

"Thank you Lisa for everything and I'm sorry about earlier" I said hugging Lisa

"Don't worry sweetie, but just remember your dad wants the best for you"

"I know"

"You ready hun?" Dad asked as we walked to the door

"Yea.."

It was a silent car ride home thank goodness we didn't live too far from the Dolans.

"Hey dad, I'm really sorry about today... I know your just looking out for me"

"Sweetie, I just want the best for my little girl that's all..." he said as he gave me a bear hugging while we went inside

"Goodnight dad, love you"

"Goodnight Eve"

Now... I just have to convince him...
