The Life of a Dragon
By Mary Lynn Apordo

A said to be extinct monster unleashed by the wagon of the truth
To fly is the fort but to hide is her comfort
That what it is when the times nobody approached
Little did she know, a small dragon like her would step out and loose

The sanctuary was being discovered
No, not just one but by everyone
First, a reluctant waved given by them
Then a wave mixed with storm and end with earthquake

Life was being moved ever since
An exchanged of countless of words was being driven
A view was being renewed,
Thinking everything is a start of something new

The little dragon let herself drown in the sea of felicity
No hindrance; just feel the purpose of being alive
Not knowing she might not be able to emerge when nothingness comes to view
Like a shadow of someone that no one knows except her uncultivated self

Now, the little monster is back again
To the place where everything started
Engulf by the solidarity of sadness,
Re-impose by the past rules and diverse with emptiness
