Two pairs of small feet patterned down the hallway, leading to the Alpha bedroom. They were trying to be quiet, neither of them knowing if the people beyond those doors were awake, or asleep.
Isaac had woken up, hearing the little feet, and looked out of his bedroom. He opened the door to see two small boys making their way to his alpha. They didn't know Isaac was awake. The small wolf had not mastered all of his senses yet.
"Ow." A small boy muttered, stubbing his pinky toe on the small table outside of the bedroom. It was filled with pictures of the pack.
"Be quiet Luca." he whispered to his brother, looking down at him.
"I'm trying Ari." Luca whispered, stumbling forward. He jumped, trying to reach the doorknob to his parents room, grunting.
"Let me do it." Arian told his brother, flapping his wings as hard as he could. They were still small, so he couldn't fly that far for too long.
"But you did it last time." Luca whined, trying to whisper at his brother. A door creaked open behind them, but they ignored it. Scott peeked out of his door, hearing his two nephews bickering outside. He smiled at the two oblivious boys. He listened, tuning into the Alpha bedroom, and was surprised to hear the couple still asleep.
"Luca...please?" Ari whined, looking at his brother with wide eyes.
"Fine." Luca finally said, staring at the door. Arian whooped in glee, flapping his wings really hard, flying up so he could reach the door. It opened silently, and the boys stilled, watching the bed for any sign of movement.
"Do you see anything?" Luca whispered at his brother, who was trying to fly higher to look on the bed.
"They're sleeping." he whispered, landing on his butt with a small thump. They tiptoed excitedly to the bed, climbing on carefully. Ari was next to Derek, getting ready to pounce while Luca was standing on the bed next to Stiles.
"One..." Luca whispered.
"Two..." Ari whispered, excitement leaking through his voice. They took a eep breath, wide smiles forming on their faces before jumping on their parents, screaming.
"THREE!" They squealed.
"Get up! Get up! It's the first day of school!" Arian screamed, jumping from Derek, to Stiles and back.
"I don't wanna go to school..." Stiles moaned into his pillow, making Arian giggle.
"You're not going to school." Luca giggles, squealing when Stiles lifted him off of him with his wing. Derek grabbed Arian, tickling him until he fell on the bed.
Derek growled playfully at his cubs, shifting into his beta form. Luca shifted into his beta form, growling at his dad while Arian shifted his wings, pulling them back playfully.
"Why couldn't you wake up your aunt Kira?" Stiles asked, getting out of bed. Stiles had mastered all of his angelic powers, due to the help of his Pop, Cas, and his Uncle Gabe, but he still liked to leave out his wings. It was great to know that he could go out like that in town, it made him feel free.
"Because Auntie Ki is already at the school!" Ari said, giggling at the confused face that Stiles was making.
"Already at the...what time is it?" He asked, turning the clock on the bedside table so he could see it.
"7:30." Derek said, knowing that it took a few minutes for his mates eyes to adjust in the morning.
"We have to be there at nine oh cluck." Ari said, spreading his arms out wide.
"Nine o'clock." Luca corrected him. Derek smiled at the two little boys before his face fell. It was there first day of kindergarten today, and they would be turning 6 on November 25th, in three months.
