This was an experiment around 2001 between myself and a few writing friends. We challenged each other to write the logs of at least 12 star trek crew members over the course of a single day.
The idea was to see how the same events could be interpreted by different characters in different ways and also to see how actions from one character could have knock on effects across the day via the Log format.
Anyway, I thought I would share this early work of mine with the group and hope you enjoy. I would recommend reading the logs in the way they are presented as stuff that may seem odd or out of place early on, makes sense later. but to read later logs, may spoil the earlier ones.
Have fun and feel free to leave comments as I am debating attempting something similar in the next few weeks.
Chacotay log.

The Klaxon wakes me up again and frightens me. It reminds me of those days when I was imprisoned before I joined the Marquis. Must remember to not bend over when I hear it.
0703
I have to take the sheets off the bed as I made a doo doo when the Klaxon went off and have put them in the laundry basket with Seven's Cat suit. I still don't understand how she manages to get into it as it is smaller than my boxer shorts when she is not wearing it.
0711
Washed my bum but I just cant seem to get rid of that smell. I must just be paranoid.
0726
I remembered that it was my appointment with Troi. Hopefully this time she would be there and not forget the appointment, have other commitments and have to reschedule, or, hide from me under her desk like she normally seems to do.
0735
I arrive and there is a queue of people to see her. I use my rank of first officer to jump to the front where I wait for her to arrive.
0753
Troi finally appears around the corner but then to everyone's dismay, she tries to do an impression of superman, and fly into another corridor. I think she may need to see a psychiatrist. Moments later all those who are in the queue to see her watch through the extremely large window as she transports into her office and takes a PADD from her desk and then transports out. Anyone could think she was trying to avoid them for some reason.
0820
Troi has not returned and I give up waiting for her. As I have nothing better to do with my time until my shift starts I will go back to my quarters and inspect Seven's Cat suit.
08.59
Decide that it is impossible to get on as I can't seem to get it over my shoulders.
0911
After a few minutes of trying to get the suit off, I somehow get my right arm inside the sleeve. However, I then slip and fall over the dirty sheet hanging outside the edge of the laundry basket. As I fall, I try to balance myself and prepare for impact just like a normal morning on the bridge, my left arm slipped into the other sleeve.
0916
Finally manage to get up off the floor how the hell Seven walks in this thing I will never guess. I made my way over to the mirror where I looked at myself for a moment. Well, it did make my waist look remarkably smaller and seemed to make me look taller.
0925
I have just finished tidying the room and have become used to wearing the cat suit. It is streamlined and I haven't had one single wedgy so far. I may speak to her and ask her to make me a male version and see if the captain will let me wear it.
