Captured by the Borg, avoiding them for a year. This is what Taya Janeway has been through before Voyager found her again. Captain Janeway and her crew will help her recover from her trauma. But series of circumstances will make this difficult. Disclaimer: I do not own Star Trek: Voyager. This is just a fanfic.

"You really care about her, don't you?" Tom said, but the commander didn't answer. So Tom clarified his statement. "The Captain, I mean." "I have the utmost respect and admiration for Captain Janeway." Chakotay's response had been a long time coming. "Yeah, that too..." Tom threw in, as the tone of Chakotay's voice suggested the question had hit a little too close to home. Tom paused momentarily, mulling over what to say next or whether to keep his mouth shut. He put his hand on Chakotay's shoulder. "Commander, I could be wrong but, personally, I think you're holding out on false hope. If it was me, I'd want to know for sure. Maybe even push the point. Make a move. I mean, what's the worst case scenario here? Either she's going to phaser you, or she's going to..." "Consider yourself relieved, Lieutenant!" They both jumped, startled at the sound of her voice. Inwardly, Tom wondered how long the captain might have been standing behind him, while he tried to remember the last few words of his conversation with Chakotay. SYMBOLS or more informally "Why the heck Chakotay chose Seven of Nine when, previously, he wanted to throw her out the nearest airlock" is a work of fanfiction. It sticks to canon and is an ensemble piece, but focuses on Janeway and Chakotay predominantly. Paramount and Pocket Books own everything Star Trek - no copyright breaches intended. I just took the characters out for a play. Literary agent sent most of this to Pocket Books in 1998, but they didn't want it. I have a sweet rejection letter! So it's mine now. A couple of re-writes since then to relocate it in Season 7 and add Chapter 1 and the Epilogue. A year after the Borg tried to destroy Starfleet and kidnap Jack Crusher, the son of Dr. Beverly Crusher and Admiral Jean-Luc Picard, a new threat arises. The Breen. They attack Cardassia as revenge for their defeat during the Dominion War. Or so they claim. It quickly becomes clear, though, that there is one person they are determined to possess. Azira Scott, the descendant of Lieutenant Commander Montgomery Scott. She has no idea why they want her so badly or how far her best friend, Elnor, will go to keep her safe. *This fan fiction is based on Star Trek as of the end of Star Trek: Picard. I have not seen any of the shows, except for TOS, TNG, DS9, and ST:PIC. Please keep that in mind while you read.

Trapped behind enemy lines, a civilian ship called the 'Kobayashi Maru' is left damaged and helpless. Sent to rescue them is the USS Enterprise, under the command of Captain James. T. Kirk, who must decide whether to attempt a rescue of the Kobayashi Maru-endangering their ship and crew, and potentially starting a war-or leave the Kobayashi Maru to certain destruction. Time is of the essence and a choice must be made soon...

Ten years later, crew still try to cope with discrepancies in their lives. Section 31 leadership mulls over a legitimate concern: Was someone else out there seriously affected by the Narada's temporal rampage? An ancient interstellar civilazation may have not been able to start "lighting-up" Neolithic cultures soon enough and another one may have begun eating their souls too early.

^see above^ xD SPEC SCRIPT *VERY MUCH a work in progress....* from a dream i had; i wanted to try to recapture the feeling, fun, & excitement of tuning in for a new episode every week back in the 1990's. i want it to be good enough to have been a real shooting script "back in the day", & not just a pastiche. hopefully i cAN GET AT LEAST SOME OF THAT feeling. meant as a 2-parter, & maybe from season 8 or so? i.e.: the "original" voyager timeline, with the ~25 year journey, before admiral janeway comes back in time & shortcuts them safely home. set when voyager is transiting the galactic core region & getting near the mega / galactic black hole. possibly part of a larger core-transit story-arc? possibly as an audio/radio play, with the original cast? "spec script" project; otherwise just a fan-fic.... xD

Athena had expected many things boarding starship Voyager. Except this one thing, to be stranded in the delta quadrant, 60 000 lightyears from home. A stranger to almost everyone, she has to find her way. Both on the ship, as her way home. Since I normally do not write in English, errors will be a regular occurence. Nearly 20 years after the Voyager crew returns to the Alpha Quadrant the galaxy is at war. Many of the original crew are dead or lost. The Federation and it's allies are being destroyed, and everything the Federation values is being called into question as humanity faces it's potential extinction. Will the freedom-loving races of the galaxy continue to live in the face of their enemy, or will the living damned overrun the stars?
