Crazy Birds

Last night, Derek took me home after Bonnie found out that Elena's blood is what a transitioning hybrid needs to drink in order to complete the transition. When Derek took me home, he kissed me. I knew he was into me, but I didn't know he was that into me. He is hot if I'm being honest. Anyways, I have to keep Scott, Issac, and Derek in the clear. I cannot have any of them becoming a hybrid. I want a normal school year, but now Klaus is here to stay and Stefan has no humanity. Damon is actually okay. Scott, I think, had a nightmare due to last night, but yeah I'm going to try to live a normal life, at least for today.

I drove to school with Elena. She was still traumatized from last night, but we all have to get over it. We seemed to be cursed with having to deal with all things supernatural, but if we just try to live normal lives then it will be easier for us to move on. We shouldn't be used to the fact of having to live in constant fear. We are are teenagers.

Going into school, I started with history class. Alaric, who I'm pretty sure is hungover, walks into the room. He waited for the bell to ring so he can start. I swear supernatural drama follows us everywhere Caroline, Bonnie, Elena file into the room. Then Stefan kicked some kid out of his seat to sit next to Elena, and Rebekah came in and sat down randomly. I didn't know she would want to go to school. I looked at Bonnie and rolled my eyes. Today, I guess won't be all that normal.

During class, Rebekah started to argue with Alaric over the first settlers of Mystic Hills, when out of no where a kid screamed the word bird loudly. We all looked outside and saw a huge flock of birds flying. There had to be thousands of birds coming in towards us. They actually started hitting the windows. Blood splattered on the windows, and the more they hit, the more cracks happened, and eventually the windows broke. People screamed and ducked as birds started to fly around the room trying to kill themselves.

Watching this happen, I automatically worried about what Stiles told me last night. I immediately texted to Scott to make sure he was okay. I didn't get an answer, but it's okay. Time passed a little and Sheriff Forbes came into the room. She started asking questions and radioed to Sheriff Stilinski. Sheriff Forbes, also known as Liz or Carolines mom, is more familiar with the supernatural that Sheriff Stilinski. He knows about the vampires and werewolves, but not who is who or anything like that.

"Sheriff, Scott said that a deer purposely ran into the windshield of Lydia's car last night," I said, then went to a whisper, "He said that the deer gave off a scent of fear,"

"Okay, thank you Valerie," Liz said then went to her radio, "There was an incident like this last night, Stilinski,"

"Yeah I know, Stiles told me, lets get back to the station and we can go from there," I heard Sheriff Stilinski on the radio.

Liz said goodbye to Caroline and left. I went up to Scott's room. Why hasn't he answered me? I swear, he better be okay. I made it to his classroom, and Stiles filled me in, and said that Scott got called to the hospital by our mom. I left with Stiles, who called Scott, so that we can tell him about what's happening.

"We got a serious problem in school," Stiles said putting the phone on speaker, "Ms. Blakes class-"

"Can you tell me about it later?" Scott interrupted.

"Ah, well, nope I'm pretty sure this qualifies for immediate discussion," Stiles answered.

"Alright, then meet me at Derek's," Scott said. Why is he at Derek's? I didn't know that Derek's house was still open to the public.

"Dereks house, wha- what the hell are you doing- ?" Stiles tried question.

"Just meet us here," Scott said and hang up.

Okay, so we have a serious animal issue. There is an alpha pack, but Scott doesn't know about it because Derek wants him to live a normal teenage life. Not only do we have Klaus, the original hybrid, we have his sister and a no humanity Stefan. Great, this must be my normal.

We make it to Derek's house and while we are there, Derek uses his alpha eyes to find Scott's tattoo. Derek questions Scott about it, and he explains what tattoo means in two different languages. Then he says its a reward for not texting or calling Allison all summer. Then a knock at the door happens. I go and answer it, it was Damon.

"Damon, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came to see how you were doing, Elena told me about what happened," Damon answered.

"I'm fine," I stepped outside and closed the door behind me, "how did you know I was here?"

"Elena, she told me when I asked," Damon said, "I also needed a bit of a break from Stefan and Rebekah,"

"Okay, then lets go," I said.

I looped my arm with his. He drove his car here so we took it back to my house. I needed to go home and change. I have some bird blood on my shirt. When I was in my room changing, I felt a presence. In my bra, I turned around, and saw Damon standing there.

"A little privacy?" I asked.

"No, I'm enjoying the show," Damon stated.

I laughed and threw my bloody shirt at him as I went to get my new shirt. Before I had a chance to get my shirt in my hand, Damon was so close that it was like he was touching my skin. My heart started beating. I could feel Damon's breath on me. His hand ran up my arm and to my neck. He grabbed the side of my neck, and pulled me closer. He smashed his lips onto mine. Before I knew it, I was kissing him back. He pushed me onto my bed. I could feel my body heat up, as Damon was on top of me.

The whole mood was ruined when Scott came in slamming the door with a loud Stiles who was exclaiming about what happened in school with the birds. Damon pulled off me quickly, and threw himself to the other side of the room. I rushed to put a new shirt on before Scott came upstairs. I also wiped my mouth and bushed my hair.

"Hey Val what's up," Scott said.

"Nothing, just hanging with Damon," I stated with my heart racing super fast, "How's the tattoo?"

"Good," Scott lifted up his sleeve.

"I wish you stayed to help hold him down," Stiles said.

"Sorry, I forgot I made plans with Damon," I lied. I hope that Scott didn't pay attention because he has a thing about seeing if someone is lying.

"It's okay, I guess I'm not important to you," Stiles joked.

I laughed. Scott and Stiles left my room. I closed my door, and let it a huge sigh of relief. Damon smirked at me and I slapped him. Well, I mean if this isn't normal, I don't know what is. I have two guys all over me. Not to mention one is a vampire and the other is a werewolves. They are nemesis. The only normal part is the fact they both like me... at the same time. It sucks that they are both supernatural and both capable of killing big time.

I need to tell someone, but who do I tell? Elena is going through relationship stuff. Bonnie and Jeremy are at a rough patch. Caroline and Tyler are like in they honeymoon phase and probably roughing it right now. Great. I have no one. I can't tell Scott because he wouldn't want me with either of them. Well, I guess this is something I have to deal with it on my own.
