Lucy felt empty as Leo left, she herself felt close to tears, though none fell. A knock at the door startled her out of her miserable mood. When it opened, a short blue-haired girl came in with a huge smile and a relieved look in her eyes. Levy was her best friend, so it made sense that she had been the first visitor apart from Loki. "Lu-chan, I'm so glad you're okay" Levy was almost crying she was so happyto see that her friend was okay. The huge shadow that followed in Levy's wake gave Lucy a surprise, she hadn't expected Gajeel to come and visit her, seeing as they were on rocky terms. "H-hey... sorry I worried the both of you" she said softly, hugging her dear friend close and giving Gajeel a small smile as he shrugged with a somehow noncaring attitude, though she knew he had been worried, otherwise he wouldn't have come.

"Lucy!! You're awake!" It was somewhat overwhelming, but Lucy smiled as Natsu and Happy, a flying blue cat, came running in through the door. "Guys..." She was close to tears again as Erza came in, striding up to the bed with a rare smile on her lips. "I'm glad that you're okay" she said as she pulled Lucy in for a hug, knocking Lucy's head against her armour as usual. She was slightly out of breath by the time Gray, Master Makarov, Mirajane and the rest of her friends crowded into the small room, all eager to see their dear Lucy all better. The room was filled with smiling faces, even as Natsu and Gray began to fight, arguing over something stupid yet again. As the fight ensued Erza pulled the boys out, along with Gajeel and Happy. Both of whom, did not look pleased.

"Don't worry... I'll see you tonight, okay? Gajeel promised to take me to the aquarium" Levy said, somewhat apologetic as she hugged Lucy and skipped out of the room. Kana ran out of beer, so she too left. As did everyone else, one by one. Once alone, Lucy yet again felt the emptiness consume her, she felt numb. Everytime she went to shut her eyes, all she could feel was the painful currents that had swept through her body when she had been held captive. She knew it wasn't real, that nobody was hurting her, but she still felt it all the same. She wrapped the blanket around her, trying to make the pain her body remembered all so well, to stop. Eventually her thoughts turned to Loki, it was as if just the thought of him had eased her pain; for she felt none.

"Leo..." Lucy murmured, curling up into a ball and sighing. She felt tired, sore and emotionally numb. Her long hair was matted with blood that the nurses had obviously not cleaned. Her cracked lips slowly turned into a smile as she was careful not to put too much pressure on the newly formed bruises that covered her whole body. As she slowly lowered her eyes, she noted that someone had found her keys, she didn't want to think about what Aquarius would do to her for dropping them. Either way she knew she would hurt a lot more when Aquarius was through. Lucy was laying on her side, regardless of the one or two broken ribs she had required earlier that week. She didn't feel the pain she had expected to jolt through her when she had finally shut her eyelids and fell into a dreamless sleep.
