Leo's eyes swept across the star scattered room, they seemingly looked right through the girls on display. All of them were beautiful, radiant actually. But yet no matter ow much he flirted or how much he charmed, he could not get his thoughts on the one person he knew he couldn't have. It had already been four days since he had left Lucy alone in the infirmary. He had returned to the spirit world, where all the Celestial Spirits reside. He lay back on his elbows, sinking in to the deep satin which carpeted the floor. His closest friend Aries came up to him, offering him a drink. She knew how fondly he thought of Lucy and supported him all the way. "Y-you should talk to her... I-I'm sorry!" Aries had the habit of adding an apology to the end of each sentence, it suited her shy personality but sometimes it was confusing.
"Not yet... I will come when she calls but.. I want to be sure that nobody can hurt her again.." He said, somewhat to himself as the lounge room scene changed to the side of a lake, a full moon lighting up its waters. "I-if you don't talk t-to her soon, you may end up being the one to h-hurt her... I'm sorry!" after a slight pause, Aries looked over at her feline companion, a solemn expression on her soft features. "W-we both don't want Lucy to g-get hurt... I'm sorry!" she added, seating herself next to her friend as she watched him think over her words. "I-I'll talk to her tomorrow... I guess.." Leo said with a sigh as he took a sip of the drink. His thoughts once again returned to Lucy as he tried to deduce who had wanted information that badly that they had captured Lucy and practically tortured the information out of her.
"Don't think about it too much" Gemini popped up suddenly, pausing for only a moment before their other half continued, "Just focus on being there" both halves of Gemini paused before they said at the same time, "For her". What Gemini said did make sense, but Leo just shook his head he didn't bother with a reply, seeing that they had a point, but he still wished to follow through with his plans to find out exactly who hurt Lucy. Aries suddenly straightened, her eyes widening as she slowly started to disappear. "B-bye Leo... I-i'm sorry!" She said, finally disappearing to aid Lucy with whatever it is she needed help with. Gemini left too, obviously they had something better to do then to try to convince Leo to let it be.
By the time Aries had finally returned, Leo was fast asleep and the scenic background had returned to the lounge room scene. Aries gave a fond smile as she found a soft blanket and threw it over him, watching as he stirred slightly before returning to his slumber. Aries sat down beside him, grabbing a pillow and curling up to rest as well. She had been wounded while fighting against another celestial wizard who belonged to a dark guild. So now she was going to recover while keeping an eye out for her friends. She curled up and lay her head on the pillow, soon falling into a deep sleep, dreaming about nothing but happiness in the world around her.
When Aries had finally awoken, she found that Leo had gone. She hadn't recalled Lucy calling for him, so she knew that he had gone on his quest anyway. She sighed, knowing that she would have to fill in for him if Lucy called.
