Kurt really needed to tell Blaine that in order to change the future he would have to stay

After telling everyone else the conversation with Bianca, no one hated him
"Well, have you told Blaine the exact plan" Santana asked
"Not really" Kurt admitted
"That's even worse" Sam said
"How come" Kurt asked
"You're leading him on, you're making Blaine think that you'll go back home with us when jn reality in order for this plan to work, you have to stay" Mercedes explained
"I can't tell him, I can't cause him more pain" Kurt told her
"Well when its time, the pain is going to be even worse" Mike said
"You're right" Kurt sighed
"Look, Blaine will have to understand one way or another" Kitty reminded him
Kurt decided to tell Blaine that night, it was going to be hard but he had to tell him
"Hey can we talk" Kurt asked
"Yeah, let me just get Tracy to bed" Blaine told him
After putting Tracy to bed, Blaine asked
"What's going on"
"You know the plan I said about changing the future so none of the events will happen" Kurt asked
"Yeah" Blaine nodded
"Well, I didn't exactly tell you everything" Kurt finally said
"Why" Blaine looked a little confused
"I just don't want to hurt you anymore" Kurt admitted
"Just tell me" Blaine said
"Well, in order for the plan to work, I have to stay here and the rest of you will go back home" Kurt admitted
Blaine just sat there but Kurt knew he was going to start crying
"Are you insane" Blaine asked
"I'm being serious, I'm not lying" Kurt told him
"I know, but you staying here, have you thought about me, about Tracy, about our future" Blaine was frustrated
"I have, and that's why I'm doing this, I don't want to leave here knowing that in the future, my kids are sick and that my husband is dead" Kurt told him
"There has to another way, maybe we change things now" Blaine suggested
"Believe me I want there to be another way but unfortunately this is the only way" Kurt was trying to calm him down
"Why just why" Blaine was crying
"Look you've been through a lot and I don't need you in anymore pain, now I need to fix this since this is technically my fault" Kurt tries to reason with him
"But I promised when we got married that I would stick by your side" Blaine said
"And so did I, but I also promised that I would do anything to keep you safe" Kurt said
Blaine just cried and Kurt hugged him, trying not to cry
"I love you ok, I'm doing this because I love you" Kurt wiped Blaine's tears
"I love you too" Blaine mumbled
"Never forget it, promise me" Kurt told him
"I promise" Blaine promised him
Kurt knew this was hard, but he had to do it
He just kind of hoped there would be another way
