Chapter 14

Everything was such a blur
But then Kurt reacted when he saw Percy shoot Blaine
And he ran towards him and scooped him in his arms
"Wake up please, don't do this to me" Kurt was saying
"Don't worry that weapon only makes you fall unconcious" Bianca told him
Kurt was angry and went towards Percy and punched him hard
All the guys were trying to help him but Kurt didn't need it
Eventually, Percy left limping and Kurt still felt bad
When they went back to house, everything just seemed to slow down
Bianca came to the living room where Kurt was
"How is he" Kurt asked
"He's fine, he'll wake up soon" Bianca told hin
"And the baby" Kurt asked
"Also fine" Bianca assured him
After she left, Kurt just sighed and started cursing himself
"You ok" Santana came towards him
"No" Kurt ran his hands through his hair
"Tough day" Santana sat down next to him
"I can't believe this happened to Blaine" Kurt said
"Me either" Santana nodded
"I promised him I would protect him and look what happened" Kurt told her
"Hey don't beat yourself up" Santana said
"I can't help it, I almost lost Blaine and he is the only reason why I am not giving up on this whole thing" Kurt was frustrated with himself
"Look, it will be alright" Santana tried to comfort him
"You don't understand, I don't know what I would do if I lost him, I can't let him be in danger anymore" Kurt argued
"Ok, remember the fire the one that landed Blaine in the hospital how did you think I felt, Blaine's like my little brother" Santana said back
"You're right, I'm sorry" Kurt apologized
"And one more thing, whenever you go on those missions with the guys, don't you think Blaine was thinking the same thoughts you are having right now" Santana said
"Probably" Kurt shrugged
"Guys, Blaine's awake" Sam went towards him
Kurt ran all the way towards their room and went next to him
"You're ok" Kurt sighed with relief
"I'm fine" Blaine smiled reassuringly
"We'll leave you two alone" Sam decided before leaving with Santana
After they left, Kurt said
"I'm sorry"
"Why are you sorry" Blaine looked confused
"I should have been protecting you" Kurt told him
"You did, you managed for Percy to let me go" Blaine said
"Yes but you still got hurt" Kurt argued
"Its not your fault, none of this is your fault" Blaine tried to convince him
"I can't lose you, I just can't, you're the love of my life" Kurt said
"And you're mine" Blaine smiled at him
"And I'm sorry for sneaking behind your back going on those missions and not realizing that you may be feeling the same way as I am right now" Kurt apologized
"Its fine" Blaine said
"I'm just glad you and the baby are fine" Kurt laid down next to him on the bed
"I love you and I love that I feel safe whenever I'm around you" Blaine snuggled closer to Kurt
"That's good, because I want you to feel safe" Kurt smiled at him
