Chapter 25

It was going well
"I'm worried about Kurt" Blaine told the group
"He'll be fine" Santana assured him
"I hope so" Blaine sighed
"Um guys" Mike pointed
"You thought you could escape me" his dad said
"We can" Blaine told him
"You I'm holding an actual real weapon" his dad warned
"Why do this" Blaine asked
"You should know why, its obvious" his dad smiled
"Is it really or is it because you resent me for actually having a caring family" Blaine stepped foward
His dad's smile faltered "Stop before you say something you regret"
"Why, I've practically resented you my entire life, you weren't there when I needed, well actually you wanted to get rid of me and then you abandoned me on the streets" Blaine admitted
"Well you disappointed me first" his dad said
"I think its actually you disappointing me first because you weren't a good father to me" Blaine shot back
"What does this have to do with me resenting you" his dad laughed
"I found a group of friends, who treat me like I'm worth it, I found a brother I never had" Blaine looked at Sam
"I found a sister who I also never had" Blaine saw Santana smiling at him
"And I also found a sister that has cared about me even if at first she didn't show it" Blaine saw Quinn giggling a bit
"Most important I found my soulmate, the person who loves me for who I am and who I married and now we have a daughter and I'm going to be a good father, I'm not going to abadon my family like you did with me" Blaine told him
"Your point" his dad said
"Its all the things you wanted but you were too much of a bad person that everything left" Blaine finally told him
His dad just went foward for him and attacked, the weapon still in his hands
And surprisingly Blaine fought back, he wasn't going to back down anymore
All of sudden, there was a sound of weapon and Blaine saw it in his hands and his dad on the ground
Both of them too caught up to notice that this happened
Blaine couldn't breathe and he saw Santana come towards him
"Your dad" Santana tried to find the words
"Did I do this" Blaine gulped
He knew he was dead but he felt bad
"Its fine, its over he won't bother you anymore" Quinn said
Blaine started crying and found himself in his friend's embrace
Everything he felt for the past years of his life just flooded out
"Its alright, we're here" Sam comfort him
"I really meant what I said, you guys are family" Blaine wiped his tears
"Only one more step" Artie noticed
Blaine looked towards the building, where Kurt would talk to his future self
"Let's just hope it goes well" Blaine sighed
"I never realized you were that resentful towards your dad" Tina asked
"I mean I just wanted someone to accept me you know" Blaine told her
"We're here for you" Finn reminded him
Blaine smiled, feeling all that weight lifted off his chest
He finally felt free
