A few days seemed like months and the loss I felt, grew. My family wanted to get involved but I refused it, even as I was sat here in my own little world.. nothing could free me from this but myself. If only it was that easy.
"Hey" I heard a voice echo and mix with the sound of a door closing, I could almost instantly place who it was with the feel of fear kicking in. "Hey, you're back" I replied and smiled slightly as I stood by Luna and watched.. as he, walked into the kitchen, I prayed that this would be a good day. "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?" I frowned slightly as I began to wonder.. what exactly happened. The truth is, this beautiful man standing before us, was the first I ever loved. It was everything about him, his eyes, his laugh, even the way he smiled.. but now, he did nothing but terrify me. He has his good days and his bad, but recently, he was away on business and he never.. comes home this, happy. "It's.. four days early Gray" I replied and watched him shift in his place as he was quiet for a moment. "I know, it's because I got you something and I just wanted to see you open it" I stole a small, quick glance at Luna before we both turned back towards him, and watched as he picked up a long, white box and place it onto the kitchen island. It took a second, it took a moment where I just gazed at it and it's beautiful white lace ribbon. I stood from leaning against the counter and walked towards the box, and reached a hand out and pulled the ribbon.. I watched as it unfolded and fell from the box. Slowly, I lifted the lid and could see the most beautiful.. single white rose laying in all it's beauty. "How.. did you know I like white roses?" I asked and took a glance at him, "I never told you" there was only two people, who knew. One being Luna. "Stop that" He spoke and sighed in annoyance just as I picked up the box and threw it across the room. "You always do this!" He exclaimed. "You.." I began and looked directly at him. "went to that house, after everything and I-" I took a moment to try and process it as I felt numbness grow within "I should have known I was still your bit on the side" and mix with anger.
I needed to do something, I needed to punch something or beat something. I walked away from the situation and towards my room. As I slammed the door shut behind, I sat down and loaded up my game and began to shoot things, over, and over again. Imagining him, imagining every fiber of him. Once I had slowly begun to calm down, I took a glance at the notifications in the corner of my screen and could see they had found my account, the boys from the game a few days ago. A small smile formed at the thought of it and the game I had accidentally joined. Each one of them had sent a friends request but I couldn't accept them.. if Grayson had found out about it, I doubt I'd be able to see the sun for the next few days.
