"did you see the new kid?" bailey asked.
"no. why?"
"i heard he's cute and that he's in our grade!" (a/n: i am aware that in real life, bailey and sean know each other and that bailey is younger than sean but this is just an imagine)
i shaked my head. bailey and i continued to talk by our lockers until the bell rang indicating that it was first period.
"see you later." i said before bailey and i went our seperate ways. i had u.s history for first period and i didn't want to go. it wasn't the teacher or students that made me dislike the class, it was just the amount of work our teacher, ms. lane, gave. don't get me wrong, ms. lane is one of the nicest teachers i've ever had but giving us a long ass packet for homework every night isn't fun.
i walked into the class and sat down on my assigned seat. i took out my homework packet about the declaration of independence and looked through the pages. i didn't do the last page since i fell asleep but i didn't bother doing it at the moment.
"morning students! today we have a new student joining us. his name is sean lew." ms. lane said and a tall boy with jet black, messy hair came in. he wore a plain black shirt with grey joggers. he smiled to the class showing off his dimples.
oh. my. god. he has dimples. bailey wasn't lying when she said he was cute. damn
i thought to myself as i continued to stare. he must've noticed cause he glanced at me and smiled again.
oh fuck.
"sean, you can sit anywhere that is empty." ms. lane said and sean nodded. i looked around and there were only two empty seats in the classroom, next to me and in the back of the room. sean began walking towards my direction and my heart was beating so fast, i don't know why. he then placed his things down on the seat next to me. he glanced at me before sitting down.
ms. lane decided that today would be an easy day and that we would just watch a documentary about the boston massacre. the lights were turned off and the only light that could be seen was from the tv. as i watched, i felt a tap on my thigh. i looked down and saw sean's hand holding a piece of paper. i turned to him and he just grinned and i looked back down continuing to stare at the paper.
"take it already, my arm is staring to hurt." sean whispered. his voice omg. it was as deep as the ocean.
i grabbed the piece of paper from his hand. i furrowed my eyebrows at him before unfolding the paper. it read:
hey! i'm sean as you already know lol
nice to meet you. what's your name?
p.s. i think you're cute
:)
i couldn't help but blush. he thinks i'm cute. i glanced at him but his eyes were focused on the tv. i flipped over the paper and wrote back.
hi. i'm y/n
you're not so bad yourself. ;)
i folded the paper again and tapped on his shoulder. he raised his hand telling me to wait since he was so busy watching whatever was on the screen. i rolled my eyes and just placed it on his desk. he took his eyes off the tv to read the paper. he looked at me and smiled causing me to smile back.
