sean's pov

i stared at y/n as she walked into the cafeteria, laughing with her friends. it was currently lunch time. i continued to stare until someone blocked my view. it was julian and josh.

julian and josh placed their lunches down onto the table before sitting down. "we caught you staring at her again." josh said before he took a bite out of his burger.

"i-i don't know what you're talking about."

"sure you don't." julian says as he rolls his eyes. "why don't you just tell her how you feel?"

my eyes widened. "are you crazy? i can't do that. i know she doesn't feel the same way about me."

"how are you so sure of that?" julian asks again.

"yeah, do you have proof?" josh interrupts before stuffing his mouth with fries.

"slow down josh. you're going to choke!" julian warns causing me to quietly chuckle.

"we're just friends."

"who you guys talking about?" i shot up my head to be faced with y/n. she had a smile plastered on her face and josh choked on his fries.

"uhh...n-nothing! no one!" i blurted nervously. my began cheeks turning to a bright shade of red.

"seems like something to me." y/n raised her eyebrow before taking a seat next to me. my heart began to beat faster and faster.

"it's nothing, i promise." i lied again as my heart began to beat normally. i turned to y/n, giving her a small smile. she was hesitant at first since she didn't believed me but just gave me a smile back.

our little exchange was interrupted when josh faked a cough.

"sorry to interrupt but do any of you guys have ketchup?" josh asked. "these fries would taste better if-... OW!" he yelped. it was julian who pulled on his ear.

"what was that for?" josh pouted as he rubbed his ear lobe. julian rolled his eyes before josh finally caught on. "shit, you didn't have to do that though."

y/n giggled as i glared at the both of them.

"y/n, you coming?" one of her friends asks as they walked by.

"i'll meet you at the table." she said and her friend nodded before walking away with the rest of their group.

"see you guys later. and see you next period sean." she smiled as she got up.

"see you." i smiled back before she walked away.

"bye y/n!" josh and julian yelled in unison causing her to turn around, waving back.

"bro you were blushing so hard." josh snickered.

"you should've seen the way she looked and smiled at you. that's enough to prove to me that she feels the same way." julian said as he smirked at me.

"you think?"

"yes!" they both yelled causing people around us to look our direction, including y/n.

"sorry." julian apologized and everyone went back to their lunches or conversations.

"maybe i will tell her one day. but today is not the day." i said i turned back to look at her.

one day, you will be mine.
