third person pov

the clock had just turned to 2:00 am. y/n was still wide awake, remembering all the times they shared, good and bad. her face was stained with tears. her hair was all tangled up. her eye bags were getting darker and darker by every night. she was a mess.

she sat in the middle of her bed, leaning on the headboard. pillows were scattered everywhere, chinese take out boxes as well. she hasn't left her room since she left him. almost a week ago.

she didn't leave because he was a bad boyfriend. as cliché as it sounds, he was the best thing that had ever happened to her. she left because they began to slowly drift apart.

she understood that he was focused on his career and she was his number one supporter, aside from his mother of course. but what she didn't understand was what led them to that point. to the point where he had no time for her at all. no time for a single text, no time for a quick call, no time to hang out.

she understood that he was a very busy guy but if he could post videos of him hanging out in disneyland with friends and cuddling with oreo or something like that, then he should be able to spend a few moments with her.

when she finally had the courage to speak up about it, she told him. and his reaction broke her. she remembered it like it had just happened a few hours ago.

they were in his bedroom. they both sat on the comfy bed, y/n's hands were shaking because of how nervous she was.

"what's wrong y/n? you know you can tell me anything." sean said as he held her shaking hands. his voice calmed her a bit.

she told him how she felt. she told him how she would cry herself to sleep because the situation. she told him how every time she gets a text or call, she hoped it was from him. she told him that she missed him so much.

he listened intently, tears forming around his eyes. he stayed quiet the whole time. y/n was in tears as she talked.

"i still love you sean. i'll always will but i think it's best if we go our separate ways.

goodbye lewser."

was the last thing she said before she left.
