The Bet

Chapter Five

(Jennie's P.O.V.)

Dinner time..

My heart is pounding, I'm with Rosé we're standing in front of the venue. "Hey, relax. Okay?" Rosé said as she held my hand

I smiled and nodded. I took a deep breath "Ready?" Rosé asked as she squeezed my hands lightly

I nodded "Ye, let's go and get this over with..." I murmured, she nodded and we entered the venue

A waiter came "Hello, ladies  Do you guys have a reservation?" A guy asked. Rosé nodded

"Yes, it's named under Kim Hanbin" I said. The guy checked his notepad and nodded

"Yes. Okay, I'm Jay by the way. I'm your waiter for tonight" He said with a smile. We smiled back

"Follow me..." He said as he took the lead. We followed him, we went in to a private room with some people

I saw my parents, Hanbin and his parents on the table, chatting. They noticed our presence "Jennie, I'm glad that you're not late" My father said

"Take a seat..." Appa said as he gestured the seat beside, Hanbin. I gulped in nervousness, Rosé squeezed my hands, reassuring that she's still there

I took a seat beside Hanbin, while Rosé sat across me. "Jennie, we're here to talk about your marraige..." Hanbin's father said

"We're setting up your marraige after graduation." My father said. I nodded, I don't want to complain or something because I know that we'll just end up fighting

"Uncle, how about we adjust the marriage, early?" Hanbin suggested as he
gave me a challenging glare

"It depends, Hanbin. Because we need to attend events... Remember?" Hanbin's father reminded

"And, Jennie. You'll attend some events and some photoshoot" My father said. I sighed in relief. I nodded in response

"You guys would be busy, you can't control your schedule for the upcoming events" My mother said

"And that events would be in different countries, sweet heart" Hanbin's mother said

Me and Hanbin nodded. "Okay, let's start our dinner" My father said. Then he called the waiter, Jay. Jay quickly came

"Yes, sir?" He asked my father. Appa ordered food, I wasn't paying any attention to them

Then I heard a very familiar voice. "Hey, Seulgi. Let's have a bet later, yeah?" It's Lisa, she's gonna walk pass us. She's holding a bottle of beer

"Excuse me I'm just gonna, go to the restroom" Hanbin said as he stood up. My eyes went wide

"Shit..." Rosé said when she saw Lisa too. Our eyes went wide when they bumped in to each other and the beer that Lisa is holding is splattered all over Hanbin's shirt and on her shirt

"What the fuck?" Hanbin growled. I gulped in nervousness, all eyes went towards them.

"Hey, watch where you're going dude..." Lisa said as she wiped some liquid on her shirt, then Lisa looked up her eyes went wide

"You again?!" Hanbin and Lisa said furiously. "What the fuck are you doing here?" He asked firmly

"We hang out here, so?" Lisa said calmly but with an irritated tone. Then Lisa saw me she smiled at but then frowned when she saw my parents and Hanbin's parents

"Oh, well, well, well... We have a family meeting!" Lisa said mockingly, then Seulgi and Jisoo went behind her same as Irene and Taehyung

"Get out here, Manoban" Hanbin's father said. Lisa scoffed as she rolled her eyes in anoyance
