Chapter Twenty-Two

(Jennie's P.O.V.)

"...when Mr. Kim got, the 2 million won." Sehun said, my eyes went wide. "Then the day after that, he got another millions of won." Sehun said

As he handed the paper of evidence to the judge. "Judge asked for discussion not proofs!" Mr. Kim's lawyer interjected

"No. Mr. Sehun, proceed..." The judge said. Sehun smirked, he walked back and forth having eye contact with the other people

"Okay, Ms. Manoban, may I ask... Who's Mr. Jeong to your father?" Sehun asked, I looked at Lisa

"Oh, he was my father's best friend." Lisa said, calmly.

"But, what happened?" Sehun asked again. "Do you kbow anythibg that could possibly ruined their friendship, and caused a murder?" He asked

"Hmm... well, I heard them in my father's office, they were fighting. Mr. Jeong threatend my father, because my father doesn't want to do the things that Mr. Jeong wants" Lisa said

"And, what is that? Ms. Manoban, tell us what you know that day. Everything. Tell us, everything" Sehun asked

"I heard them talking, no, yelling in my father's office, Mr. Jeong demanded that he wants to reach other companies, quickly" Lisa said

"By, dragging their company down?" Sehun asked and stopped pacing. "Or, by dragging the down six feet below?" Sehun asked with a smirk

"That is not true!" My father yelled as he stood up, we all jumped lightly in shock. Other people started to murmur

My father looked around "I-i mean..." My father stuttered, nervously. Mr. Wang stood up too and held my father's shoulder

Signaling him to sit down, my father obliged. His having some difficulties to move though, because he's hand cuffed

"Mr. Kim, calm down, do not react or do not make unnecessary actions." Mr. Wang, my father's lawyer said, calmly

The judge used his gavel, and knocked it loudly, three times, to gain the other's attention

"Silence!" The judge said "Mr. Sehun proceed, please." The judge said. Sehun smiled and nodded

"Thank you, judge. Now, please don't react, Mr. Kim. Why are tou even affected? You're not we are talking about" Sehun said

"That's unnecessary judge!" Mr. Wang interjected as he points to Sehun. Trying to gain, the judge's interest to them

"No. Proceed..." The judge said. Sehun nodded and Mr. Wang sat down, with dagger looks on Sehun

Sehun looked at Lisa giving her a 'answer my question a while ago' look to her. "Yes, Mr. Sehun. Mr. Jeong, told my father that he wants to drag other high comapanies..." Lisa said

"By, killing them." Lisa said "My dad refuses, of course. He doesn't want to cause anything that will ruin a lot of people" Lisa said

"He wants to gain more power and money, Mr. Jeong argued with my father, causing them to get, harsh actions" Lisa said

"Harsh actions, like, punching ...?" Sehun asked as he cocked his brows. Lisa nodded, in response

"Then what happened Miss Maboban?" Sehun asked as he faced my father with a smirk on his lips

"He threatened my father..." Lisa finished her story with teary eyes.

"Okay, then, no more further questions. Thank you, Miss Manoban. Judge..." Sehun said and bowed to the judge

They went back to our place. "Thank you, Mr. Sehun, next, Mr. Wang please stand up for the court" The judge said

"Gladly, judge." He said as he bowed his head, to show respect. "Okay, firstly... I want to call my witness"
