Elijah x Male!Reader ~ Let me stay by your side

Hi everyone ! Here is a new one-shot with another of my favorite character (even if his an asshole). The story is rather long and it was hard to translate but I hope you will like it howerver.

Elijah was lost in his thoughts. Of course, it often happened – he was, after all, a genius, with a lot of extraordinary ideas every day, and even after quitting Cyberlife, he still was the source of all the projects. But for a few days, it was not his brilliant mind that occupied his head. No, in fact, he was thinking about this meeting a few days ago ; the one with the lieutenant Anderson, the Connor android and the lieutenant's assistant. It was this last person he was thinking about. He was sure he already saw him somewhere, but he couldn't remember where exactly. He also was sure, however, that such a cute face was not forgettable. But where had he seen him? In what situation? Certainly not at the precinct where he worked, because he never was there. But his name... his name looked familiar to him... (L/n)... where had he heard it? He was certain they already met... But where? When? He couldn't remember and it was getting on his nerves!

- CHLOE!

The pretty android entered the room, hands in front of her.

- Yes, Elijah?

- I want you to do some research about this policeman who was with Lieutenant Anderson and his android. I absolutely want to know who this guy is and where did I meet him.

- Fine, Elijah.

Then, the android disappeared, leaving the human all alone, preoccupied by his thoughts. He could see again the scene playing in front of his eyes.

Chloe entered in the water-pool room and explained to him when his head come out of the water, that his three guests just arrived. He told her to bring them here. The android walked out. Elijah did a length again before their arriving.

- Mister Kamski?

- Just a moment, please.

When his head popped out again, they were waiting in front of the patio door beside his armchair. He then decided to got out to greet them. Chloe helped him put on his bathrobe. He scrutinized his guests ; the grizzled Lieutenant, the android with the number RK800 and another young man, around his thirties with (h/c) hair, bright (e/c) eyes and such a glimmer of life in his face when he looked all around him with admiration that Elijah felt like being irresistibly attracted to him. The feeling had seemed very old and misplaced to him a this moment.

- I'm Lieutenant Anderson. This is Connor and my second, Detective (L/n).

- What can I do for you, Lieutenant? He answered without drawing his eyes away from the Detective.

The young detective raised his head and met the clear gaze of the genius. Elijah felt something stir inside him.

- Sir, we're investigating deviants. Pursued the lieutenant. I know you left Cyberlife years ago but, I was hoping you'd be able to tell us something we don't know...

His gaze regretfully left the detective (L/n)'s one who had blushed under the intensity of such eyes and turned towards the android RK800.
