The after party was amazing. The cake was perfect. The decor was perfect. Everything was perfect. I was walking home that same night. My mother gave me a card and told me to splurge on myself, and so I thought, why not?

I bought a new wardrobe of outfits, which meant a lot of bags. I asked the first person I saw, which happened to be Josh, and we carried them up to my dorm and dropped everything onto my bedroom floor. Then I heard a sound. It was violent, yet gentle. But I sensed danger. The sounds came from Crystal's room. Rustling. The fear I had in me was unable to be described. I was a princess who didn't have powers. People would take advantage of that. Josh looked alert, he heard it, too.

"What do you think it might be?" I whispered.

"I've no clue, let's go check it out,"

I opened the door and we walked into the most shocking thing imaginable.

"Professor Bleu?!" Josh gasped.

"What the hell?" I yell in shock.

"Angel! Oh my gosh, when did you get home?" Crystal gasped, covering herself with the blanket.

"I just got home... uhhh you two... uhhhmmm have fun?" I shuddered. I'm scarred for eternity. Josh and I  ran out, and he slammed the door. What crawled up his ass?

"Why are you so angry?" I questioned him.

"Because... that's messed up?" He lied.

"Oh no," I smirked, and he tensed up,"You like Crystal,"

"W-whaaat? No!" He scoffed.

"Come on we're all adults here, no point in hiding it," I shrugged.

"Oh really?" He smirked,"Then why don't you just  tell me what's up between you and Connor, huh? I know, for a fact, that you like him,"

"What? How did... Fine! We were a thing, once upon a time... We were childhood best friends," I shurgged,"What would you expect?"

"But he's so dark, why him?"

"Because I can see past that," I lowered my gaze.

"That's cute," He chuckles," I'll leave you alone to your thoughts now, bye!" He waved and shut the door.

The next day, I made it to Professor Bleu's class just in time. I wasn't trying to go through with an awkward conversation with him.

"Alright,  good day to you all," He smiled," Today I shall give you all a  palette of gems for you to choose from, considering none of you were able to figure yours out,"

He pulled out a huge wooden case, and set it on one of the tables.

"Take your picks," he smiled,"There are 8 of each kind, and those who have the same gem shall train with you, and remember choosing the wrong gem will result in an electrocution, causing power removal for a period of time,"

"How long?" Connor asks.

"Depends," Bleu replied.

"On what?" He seemed frustrated, but then again, it's Connor.

"That for me to know, and for you to find out," He grinned.

I head towards the box and the lightest blue gem catches my eye. As I reach for it, another hand grabs it and a chuckle follows.

"Thought you'd reach it before me, aye?" Ashley laughed. Suddenly, an electric current shocked through her body and she fell, the gem bouncing straight into my hands. I shut my eyes preparing for the shock, but it never came.

"Woah, Angel, we all have the same gems," Crystal smiled brightly, until she saw Ashley. She was glaring at me, just like she did at the coronation,"What happened to Ash?" She tried to whisper.

"The damned gem shocked me!" Ash yelled.

"Why don't you go sit down, Ashley," Bleu brought her to a chair, and she sat there for the rest of class.

"So you two have the blue one, too?" Connor asked.

"Yeah,"

"I guess we're in the same group then," He smirked.

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes.

"Why so cold, babe?"

"Leave me alone," I glared, and to my surprise he did.

Professor Bleu walked back over.

"Who else has gotten the aquamarine gem?"

5 people walked out of the crowd. All holding the gem... This suddenly became extremely dramatic... Weird. Jake, Josh, Lily, a girl I've never seen before, and Mikey. Mikey stayed at the same dorm as Jake, Josh, and Connor. Mikey was tall, had blond hair that was growing back from a buzz cut, and grey eyes. He had a similar style to the rest of the boys, unlike us girls who totally clashed, but it worked.

The girl was strange, she had dark hair with red streaks messily spread around that she tied into a messy bun. She had blue eyes like mine, and now that I look that not all thats similar... she has my necklace.

"Hi, I'm Michelle," she smiled.
