"Alright, enough chatter, let's get to building!" Professor Bleu said. I still couldn't take him seriously. I had since learned that vampires weren't able to be with anyone, except their mate. You could only find your mate with a tattoo that appeared after you had reached a certain level of strength with your powers. I would've expected that he had found a mate by that age, but apparently not. I guessed some took longer than others.
The 8 of us stood by the desk with all the parts we'd need to build our staffs. Since we were the only ones who had found our gems, we had an extra class everyday until other students could figure out their own.
"You can make this however you want, as long as you reflect your power as well as incorporate the gem into it," Bleu said," Go ahead," He finished and simply left us.
I went straight towards the silver, until I realized that they were solid bars, I looked at the gold and noticed the same.
"Does he want us to like, mold it in our own way?" I asked.
"I'm really not sure," Crystal shrugged.
"If that's what he's expecting then he's going to be disappointed because none of us can create a heat that powerful anyway," Mikey said.
"Actually I can," I said," So can Michelle," I pointed out.
"How?" Connor asked and I just shrugged it off.
"They're powers are powered by the eternal flame. More for Angel, but Michelle could actually pull it off, too," Lily said.
"Does he expect us to work together and figure this all out?" Connor asked.
"Sure seems like it," I sighed.
I had enough classes with Connor, Ididn't want anything more to do with him. We sat clueless for about 30minutes and finally decided to leave. We would just have to figure it out the next day.
As I tried to leave, someone grabbed me by the wrist. I turned around and threw a punch. I watched as my fist hit his jaw.
"Ouch!" He cringed. He held his jaw tightly.
"I'd apologize, but you deserve it,"
"Well someone's in a bad mood," He laughed.
"What the hell do do you want, Connor?" I growled. Yes, I growled, like an animal.
"I want you to go out with me," He said standing tall, hands behind his back. He looked decent, almost normal if you hadn't experienced his changing attitude, daily. I could neer keep up, one second he would flirt around, and the next I was getting knocked out.
"Why?" I asked, honestly. It didn't make sense, I was completely different from him, not to mention the times he hurt me...
"Because... well... I honestly don't know. There's something about you," He said looking me in the eyes. His eyes always made my heart melt. It was he one part of him I knew would never change, and that gave me hope.
"Fine... I'll go, as long as you don't hurt me," I said.
"Deal," He smiled, and it was as if a weight had been lifted off my chest.
