Alexia woke up at around 6:30 in the morning. It was her eleventh birthday. She ran across the hall to her parent's bedroom.

"Daddy! Paddy! Wake up!" She said jumping on their bed.

Remus chuckled whilst Sirius groaned.

"Hurry up Paddy!" Alexia said as she dragged them downstairs. Remus soon swiped his daughter up.

"Happy birthday, Cub" He said as he kissed all over her face, her squealing in joy. Then Sirius scooped her up.

"I think Marshall has a gift for you" Marshall was Remus's Owl. Alexia ran over to the owl and put her arm out, to which the owl gently landed on it, and handed her a letter from his beak. Remus then removed the owl, and put him in the owlery. Alexia read the letter address out loud;

"To Miss Lupin

The room to the right of the hall

Black residence,

12 Grimmauld place"

Alexia carefully ripped open the letter, to find her Hogwarts acceptance letter. She read it o herself this time;

'Dear Miss Alexia Lupin,

I am proud to present to you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Please arrive at the school with all necessary items, in the enclosed list in this letter.

We look forward to seeing you next term on the 1st of September.

Sincerely, Minervra McGonagall, Deputy head mistress, Transfiguration teacher, head of Gryffindor house.'

She opened the envelope to find a list of all the things she needed, such as a wand and cauldron etc.

Both men watched their daughter's face of concentration and the small smile on her face that she could't help but keep. She suddenly looked up.

"Daddy, Paddy, what's Gryffindor?" She asked politely.

"It's a Hogwarts house, Puppy" Sirius said as Remus led Alexia to the table, to eat her toast.

"There are four in total; Gryffindor for the brave, Hufflepuff for the loyal, Ravenclaw for the smart and Slytherin for the evil little-" Remus stopped him.

"Sirius" He warned. Sirius looked out the window to distract him from saying the colourful language about his family. Alexia looked at her parent's in confusion.

"W-what's wrong with Paddy?" Remus sighed and looked at his beautiful daughter, a few light scars littered across her face, her ginger hair slightly messy from waking up not too long ago.

"Paddy's Family were not very kind to him when he was young, and when he got sorted into Gryffindor, it only got worse for him. They used to beat him and harm him," Alexia cowered down from her father as her eyes water.

"Remus don't scare our daughter, what matters is that they're not here anymore to interfere with me and my new family, ad that started eleven years ago, when you were born" Sirius said as he picked up his teary-eyed daughter and sat in the living room sofa, Remus in tow.

"Now, let's say that Slytherin, not all of them are evil. They're known for their ambition" Remus reminded the child, who Sirius had wiped her tears away.

"Remus, shall we go to James and Lilly's for the day, maybe Harry got his letter today" Sirius said in thought, knowing that Alexia loved her cousin. They weren't really related, but Alexia and Harry had decided that was what they were to each other. Technically, they were half-brother and sister, due o Lilly giving birth to them both. But obviously they both had different parents completely.

Alexia smiled, then ran up to her room. Blizzard came running down the stairs, and bounding up to the two men, who fussed him. Alexia came down in her white shirt and brown knee-length skirt.

"Come on, come on! I want to go see Harry and Uncle James and Auntie Lilly!!" She said bouncing around. Sirius ran up to her and lifted her up.

"of course pup, but first we need you to open your present, the rest are at Uncle Prongs'" She giggled

"ok Daddy Paddy" She sat on Remus' knee as Sirius handed her a small rectangular box. She ripped off the wrapping paper and opened the box. Inside was a pendant on a chain, that was glowing.

"It's a protection stone, this means that you cannot be harmed, we brought it for you for when you went to Hogwarts, when me and Daddy Padfoot can't be around." Remus explained to the girl, to which Sirius was attaching around her neck.

"Thank you" She whispered and hugged both of her father's.
