Alexia had a nightmare about her 'Aunt' Bellatrix. She woke up in the middle of the night, tears streaming down her face, body shaking violently. She quietly got out of her cousin's bed and walked downstairs. Her parent's weren't there, they must have gone home. She ran up the stairs again to hear the gentle snores of her Uncle James. She opened the door and rushed to her Uncle's side.

"Uncle James! Uncle James!" She whispered to him.

"Hmm? Oh Lexi, what's wrong sweetheart?" He said reaching for his glasses.

"I need my Daddy's! I-i had a nightmare!!" She said, her glistening brown eyes darting across the room, as if something were to jump out at them. James sighed, but got up and walked to his desk and wrote a short letter to Remus and Sirius. Not long after, her Uncle's owl appeared and they both hears a popping sound coming from downstairs. Alexia jumped and clung onto her Uncle, who chuckled and led her to the living room, where a very tired-looking Sirius held his arms open for his daughter. Alexia jumped into his arms and snuggled up close to him.

"Sorry Prongs" Sirius said as he held his daughter close.

"No problem Padfoot. See you in the morning." And with that, James went back up to bed.

"Lets go home Pup" Sirius said, and kissed her on the head. He grabbed her clothes and apparated back to Grimmauld place.

When they arrived, Alexia was still shaking in her Father's arms. Remus was pacing, and was re-reading the letter from James, extremely stressed about his daughter.

"Daddy?" Alexia questioned the adult werewolf in a small voice. Remus' head snapped towards the hugging pair, and quickly picked up his daughter.

"What happened Cub?" He said and sat down on the couch, Sirius sitting next to them, placing their daughter in the middle, her clinging onto Remus and snuggling into Sirius. She shook her head violently and fresh tears filled her eyes.

"Remus what are we going to do?" Sirius quietly asked his canine lover.

"She'll have to sleep in our bed, there is no way she will ever sleep in her bed tonight." He said as he gently picked up his daughter and stood up, Sirius leading the way.

"Bellatrix" Alexia mumbled into her fathers shoulder. Remus looked down at her.

"What was that Cub?" He asked as he rubbed her back, placing her on the bed.

"M-my nightmare...I-It was Be-Bellatrix....She came back....but you and P-Paddy weren't here, you just l-l-left m-me..." She said, Remus' heart shattering into a million peaces at the thought of him and his partner ever leaving their daughter with that beast of a woman.

"Oh sweetheart, we would never leave you, plus mean old Bellatrix is locked away in Azkaban, so very far away." Sirius knelt down to Alexia's height. She stroked her cheek where another tear had fallen. She wanted to be braver, braver to fight her fears without the comfort of her fathers.

"B-but it felt so real-" She said, but Sirius was growing angry, feeling it was his fault that his stupid, horrible cousin was the cause of his daughter's distress. He tried to remain calm, as Remus helped her under the covers. She sniffed as her fathers climbed either  side of her. She closed her eyes, and thought of going to Hogwarts, with her cousin and making new friends.

Remus looked down at his obviously tired and sick at heart daughter. He then looked at Sirius, who was rubbing her arm, trying to stay calm and not scream out in rage. He knew what Sirius was like, very protective of their daughter, not that Remus wasn't, but Sirius wouldn't let it go for a ling time. He leaned over his shoulder and waved his wand, using the non-verbal spell; Nox. Alexia peeped under her eyelashes to see that, well, she couldn't see at all. She felt both of her fathers next to her, knowing that Remus was on her right, as she could feel the roughness, and scars on his arm, whereas Sirius hand was rubbing up and down her arm, still attempting to calm, not just her, but himself soon. Every minute or so, she could hear Sirius take violent sighs. She could soon hear the soft snored of Remus, whereas Sirius was still awake, the comforting rubbing of her arm now slowing down. Alexia yawned and snuggled into Remus' sleeping form, who unconsciously put an arm around her, and felt her world fading around her, falling into a deep, dreamless, slumber. Sirius huddled up to his partner and daughter, and kissed them both on the head, before he fell asleep himself.
