February rolled around quite quickly and we were busy decorating Ethan's house for a valentines party
"I'm locking all the doors because I know that there's going to be some valentines action and I don't want to see kids 9 months from now." Ethan says, fiddling with with the hors d'oeuvres
"Like you aren't going to join in too" Grayson mutters after blowing the pink and red valentines balloon
I choke on air and look at Ethan who was uncomfortably pulling his maroon coloured jumper down. We both thought that it would be a good idea to do it on valentines but we both didn't want to rush it just because others are doing it too
"We all need dates to enter" Dahlia says, side-eyeing Grayson
The Grayson, Dahlia and Iris situation is kinda subtle but obvious at the same time. Dahlia's suddenly taken an interest in Grayson but Grayson likes Iris
And Iris?
She's been avoiding Grayson since the whole road trip incident happened because she's scared she might lose her friendship with everyone
"Okay!" Holly yells, bursting through the twins' front door. "Me and Iris bought..."
She stops for a minute, turning around and searching for Iris, who staggers into the room with a big package wrapped in bubble wrap which is sat steadily on a wheelbarrow
"Unwrap it then!" Holly huffs
"I.. walked all.. this way with.. this stupid wheelbarrow.. and you want me... to unwrap it... myself?" Iris gasps agitatedly between breaths
"We've got 3 hours. What's in the flipping box!?" Dahlia says
"We've got.. drumroll!" Holly squeals, patting her thighs
Ethan curses under his breath and grabs the closest scissors before pushing past Holly and cutting open the package
"Rude." Holly says, flashing Ethan a dirty look
Iris grabs the closest filled cup and chugs it down before falling onto the couch
"That's my drink." Grayson says, flashing his signature smile and folding his arms across his chest
Iris pauses for a minute then shrugs before wiping the sweat off her forehead. "I need to shower." She says before passing Grayson and going onto the stairs
"I'll join you." Grayson mutters
I slap his chest and flash him a disgusted face
"Gross!" Iris revolts
"What?" Dahlia says inquisitively, twirling around
"Nothing" We all say quickly
Grayson knows about the situation through me and Ethan so he's aware that Iris ignores him because of Dahlia, he knows Dahlia likes him and he knows that Iris likes him too but is scared that she'll be given an ultimatum if their relationship does happen
"What the actual fuck, Holly!" Ethan yells
We all turn to him and look at the massive iced goose sculpture in awe
"Was that really necessary? I mean, the house is gonna be filled with rowdy drunkards." Dahlia says
"I get that, but it was only $600." Holly says
"$600!? Holly you know that you owe me 200 right?" Dahlia questions
"Well it's an extra $600 if we break it." She answers
