-Karma's point of view-
I watched as the evading pack kill my parents. There eyes rolled to the back of their heads and there blood spread everywhere. No one helped them. Not even our own pack.

I screamed and shouted as they took my sister as she was the only one I could've looked to for comfort. They took her and left me. They left me to die.

Another pack took me in, but they weren't any better.

"Did you get it done?" The alpha asked me. "N-no." I said looking down. He hit me, hard. I hit the wall. "I asked you to do one simple thing and you can't do it." He said. "I'm-I'm sorry." I apologized, tears filling my eyes.

"I'll try harder next time." I said and sit up, my head hung low. He scoffed. "I've given you many tries." He said.

"You're useless to me. If you weren't my mate, I'd have you kill." He said. "Please do kill me" I thought to myself, but I stayed silent, not wanting to enrage him even more.

He gave me a few more scratches and bruises before leaving, shutting me in.

I silent cried to myself and eventually fell asleep.

I was woken by screaming and thudding outside this room.

Someone entered the room. I backed away in fear into the wall behind me.

"It's okay little one." They said. It was female. Her voice was sweet and soothing. "I came to save you." She reassured me.

"My name is Karma." She told me. "What's yours?" She asked. I stay silent, my body shaking from fear. She saw I was still afraid and came toward me.

"Come with me." She offered. I look behind her. The alpha layed lifeless on the ground. I looked back I her and walk toward her. With each step I felt safer and safer. I accepted the fact that she saved me.

I went with her and stayed with her for years, training and getting stronger each day. Years passed.

This was the day I will never forget.

We walked to the river together. She layed down at the edge. Her red eyes distant. The wind brushed her dark, think coat of fur.

"Come here little one." She says to me. I do as I'm told, laying beside her. "You know, you never told me your name." She says and looks at the clear blue sky.

"I... I don't have one." I said. She hums in response. "Does it matter if I have one or not?" I asked.

"Of course it does." She answered. "Your name is who you are." She turned her head to face me. "Since you don't have one, you can choose one." She smiled.

"I..." I look at the ground "I want to be Karma!" I said, excited. She chuckles. "That was the second thing I was going to say." She said.

"I want you to be the next Karma." She said to me. "What do you mean?" I asked and tilt my head slightly. "There were people before me with the role of Karma and it continues. I want you to be the next." She looks back at the sky.

"But you can continue to be Karma." I said. She shakes her head. "I saw it." She said. "I saw my death." She said.

I was shocked. My eyes widened. "Please don't leave me." I said with tears in my eyes. "I won't." She said.

"I'll alway be with you. As long as you believe I am." She reassured me. Tears slip out of my eyes and roll down my cheek. "Don't cry little one." She said soothingly and turned her head to me. She nuzzled against my cheek.

"I don't want you to leave." I cried. "Listen to me little one." She said. I faced her.

"I will always be with you." She said. "I promise."

She let me cry as much as I needed.

Her death came sooner than I expected it to.

A pack came after her, she protected me even if she knew she would die. She stood in front of me, shielding me. An alpha came and twisted her neck. Her body went limp and fell.

I watched as there was nothing I could do. She died in front of my eyes, just like my parents had, and no one came to help.

I was filled with rage and grief. I killed every wolf I saw, every wolf, even the helpless. I blocked every attack that came at me.

Both my mind and body focused on killing. My body moved to where it sensed danger. Left. Right. Behind. But all my mind thought about was killing these wolves.

Soon I saw no wolves. My mind was back on track and I looked around.

There were dozens of wolves around me. I found Karma's and sat beside her and grieved.

"I'm Karma now."

I woke up and felt several tears on my cheek. I looked around and saw Vins. I was still in the cave gladly.

It was a dream of a memory. Not a single night of sleep had been pleasant these past days. The constant dream would reoccur over and over. Tears would constantly stain my cheek.

I continued to sleep even if this happened.

If anyone is confused, this is her past and she keeps dreaming about it.
