He walks put of the selsa's cave, head hanging low. I can survive on my own. He thought to himself, finding confidence. He raised his head.
He ran off to find food, choosing a rabbit as his next meal.
-R focus-
She watches as the zeta goes off on his own, rage clouding her mind. How could he?
The sun set in the horizen, darkness consuming the skies.
After a nap, her mind clears. A side of her tells her to go after him but another tells her to stay here, in the safety of her cave.
-Karma's pov-
I ran to a clearing where sunflowers grew abundantly. I was well hidden for the large plants were much taller than I.
My legs gave out, causing me to collapse onto the dirt. Tears welled up in my eyes and not being able to hold it in anymore, I burst into tears.
"If you were here, I would have failed so badly, don't you think?" My breath hicked. Tears flowed uncontrollably as memories flooded back to me, reminding me of my uselessness.
"You would've been here if I had been strong enough." I closed my eyes.
"You can't change fate." A fimiliar voice said. I opened my eyes and I snapped my head in the direction of the sound.
"Who's there?" I called out. I stood back on my feet. I turned my head the other way, then back.
"Oh how you've grown." A black figure appears. Her eyes warm. She steps towards me. I step back. "We're back to this?"
"Wh-Who are you?" I squint. She lets out a chuckle. She steps foward, I step back. The rough surface of the stalk of a sunflower come in contact with my tail.
I'm cornered. I think to myself. I look at the figure. To the right of her. To the left. Above. If I'm fast enough then I can escape.
"Really?" She says. "Not remembering me is fine, but trying to escape?" My eyes widen. How did she know my thoughts? I look to the left of her, her eyes following my gaze. I look at her and run to the right of her.
She smirked. Then suddenly, she was atop of me, choking me. Her blood colored eyes looked down at me. They weren't as warm as before. They were blood thirsty and full of rage.
Then, I figured it out.
"K-Karma?"
Yeah. Finally. I've been procrastinating for SO long. Like damn! My chapters are gonna be short sorry. J-Hope you enjoyed. :))
